Oh, I forgot about the season-changing thing. Perhaps it's just something only obtainable in summer? Although that contradicts the fact that most people see Stantler as a reindeer. I'm thinking too hard. xD
 
Not really, I mean I can see it evolving into Stantler, problem is that things don't.. connect? And yeah, it might suck, but I hope it evolves into something really good :D
 
I think the deer thing will be another useless nu pokmon with horrible stats and no evolution,like spinda,farfecth'd,Delibird,and other things like that.

    I think Moguryuu will be pure ground, but Doryuuzu will be ground/steel, which is a cool typing in my book.
  • Shikijika is Normal/Grass
    Interesting. I think if Shikijika does do that 4 evolutions thing like we predict, I think it'll keep this typing, but each seasonal evolution will have different type move pools (Summer/Fire Moves, Spring/Water Moves, Winter/Ice Moves, Fall/Psychic Moves)
  • New pokemon named Bakuchou is Water/Flying (the swan?)
    That's a good typing, but it just seems boring. Hopefully it'll be better than Pelipper.
  • Imomushiba is the caterpillar and is Bug/Grass
    Predictable.
  • Koalagi is a new Grass type (Koala) which looks similar to child and its backsprite looks like a bush (lolwtf?)
    Well, that broccoli creature does have that giant bush-thing on it's head...
  • Seasons will cycle through, each lasting a week
    That feels too short. 2-3 weeks sounds much better.
  • Shikijika does have a seasonal gimmick
    Obviously.
  • New attack “Seasonal Beam” which changes type based on the season, summer is fire and winter is ice was listed
    It's cool on paper, but too bad it's only useful in-game and during the right season.

I dont see it evolving into stantler. But it does look like it has an evolution.

If it doesnt have an evolution it might become a pokemon like castform. I think that we might get a seasonal move like weather ball. But i dont know how online play will affect such moves.
 
I'm thinking castform but game freak could surprise us and give it an awesome evo that might be useable competitively. I don't know how seasons would work on simulators; it might be a random season which would limit it to gimmicks and luck.
 
I know this is going to be said after I post, buuuut... Is Emonga supposed to be a Pachirisu evolution?, and how many people are going to joke around with the "Emo" part of its name? *sighs*
 
AMG AN ELECTRIC/FLYING THAT'S NOT ZAPDOS!!! Thank jeebus, I hate Zapdos. I got a rule that I can't use pokes you only get one of/can't breed
 
It looks like it will be a all new pokemon line. I only say so because of its color. i may be wrong. also the Gigarock( idk what to call it) is a let down being only rock. Maybe it has a pre evo that may replace geodude?

It is a pretty big let down. I was expecting it to be fire/rock or maybe even rock/dark, but it looks like it's line will be the new geodude of 5th gen.

The flying/electric type is pretty cool (idk the name). Hopefully it'll have good stats to back up the nice typing it got.
 
Okay so pokejungle rumors are false in relation to giga... seriously have they posted any legit facts yet?

Oh yeah and remember... this is not Zapdos... this is Zapdos with the stats of Plusle or Pachirisu.

Don't get your hopes up.

They're just posting things for the traffic, not really checking whether it's "factual" or not.

Pachirisu obviously drank Red Bull. Watch it be as strong as Skarmory (Also, Skarmory doesn't learn Hyper Beam. Where is ITS evolution already?)
 
the flying squirrel is so a pacharisu evo imean just look at both of them

Yeah at my first glance I was thinking it was.... but the coloration is completely different. Then again Remoraid >octillery so you never know.

Im thinking since this gen will be all new pokemon in the national dex till the end it sort of kills my hopes for a good amount of evos of older gen pokemon. I doubt we will have over 5 of them.

No, I mean.

This is a demo flier. We hold 3 Pokemon, Cheren has 2, there's presumably more then Shimama in the grass.

I figure things in the flier probably appear in the demo.

edit: also the demo is 15 minutes long. There goes all hope of evolving the starters :(

Or that he gets an evolution. Come on gamefreak, of all the electric rodents only Pikachu gets anything?

I hope Gigaiasu get's an ability other than Sturdy, STURDY SUCKS Q__Q
