Tell that to Luvdisc's evolution. Looks like your mighty all-caps argument is thrown down the dumpster.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there's been nothing saying that the Luvdisc evolution is available pre-Elite Four, however Emonga was in the demo, which would be pre-Elite Four.

I've always hoped for a electric/flying Pachirisu evolution myself ("Parachirisu" just seems so perfect), but I doubt that this is it.

While I do admit there are similarities, pachirisu's hands are far more stubby (seriously how does it even hold anything with them), its color scheme different (a unique light blue in place of common black), a vastly different tail, and a missing fang... so how do you explain emonga using super fang then? Sure there are pokemon that learn iron tail without tails, but never anything like that with any other move
While I am in agreement with you that Emonga isn't a Pachirisu evolution, that's a rather poor arguement.

You just have to look at any other set of evolutions (even Pika/Rai are good enough, with their fingers dissapearing, vastly different tail, different colors, etc.) to see that Emonga and Pachirisu are physically close enough for people to make a relation assumption. Additionally many pokemon don't have the physical characteristics that should be necessary for moves (Punching Wooper, for one).

Like I said, they're probably not related solely due to Emonga appearing in the pre-Elite Four demo, and for that reason alone.

Can we already count Luvdisc's evolution out of the pre-National Dex just with what we've seen in the demo? I don't mean to be overly-argumentative, it's just that we have a limited amount of information at this point in time.

I mean, they really don't look that much alike. I was on the Pachevo train for a while, but when you get to the down and dirties:

>The similarities that Proposedpachevo shares with Pachirisu it also shares with all the other Pikaclones.

>It is only 3 lbs heavier and is the same height
-Someone proposed he was the same size so he could fly, so he remains light in weight. Rayquaza weighs like 400lbs. (actually, a lot of big Pokemon weigh less than some of the American trainers that play the game). But seriously, Pokemon usually get bigger when they evolve. Gliscor.
>It retains no similar features at all. Other than being a white squirrel, it has nothing in common.

No, you're right, they don't look anything alike. And all Pokemon have the same color scheme on evolution, don't you know, me? Remember raichu? Same colors.
I never said there aren't Pokemon that change color scheme when they evolve. That would not be true.
What I said is that I don't understand why people say that Pachirisu and Emonga have the same color scheme and that it proves they are from the same line because they don't and it isn't.

Be a bit more optimistic... c'mon I'm sure it'll be at least 100 xD (seriously why would they make something with inferiority to flamethrower?)

And it is supposed to be a signature move right? If they aren't going to give it to any or many other pokes, it should be stronger than 80, even with a sweet extra inclusion. Does Victini consume the berry, or does he just stop the opponents berry from being consumed?

I'm assuming he stops the opponent from using it, and it didn't look that strong to be honest.. 3 damage to Miji? Even though it was 10 levels lower and from the little we've seen, I think we can assume it has very high Sp. Def.

I think the video cut off before the damage was done didn't it? If not that's pretty disappointing, but Victini also had a -SpAtk nature in that video if it's the same one that it showed the stats for.

So... anyone willing to do some calcs on Mijumaru's stats? We have their levels and Victini's stats, we may infer Mijumaru's Special Defense and Complete Burn's Base Power.

Victini's level: 15
Victini's Sp. Attack: 31

Mijumaru's level: 25
Mijumaru's HP: 68 (base 51-52, 31 IVs, 0 EVs)
Mijumaru's Special Defense: ???

Complete Fail's Base Power: ???
Complete Fail's damage: 3 (lol)

I'm gonna work with 60 BP, will edit in a minute.

EDIT -- Well fuck this shit, it's impossible to infer anything. Low damage, low levels, low stats. Bah.

Considering the name of the move is literally "burn to ashes" I'm guessing no.

Maybe it will have a high burn rate?

I really hope that's what it does, because that's kinda sorta awesome, but I believe the description of Victory Star was shown and I'm sure it'd have been noted that it burns items and not just berries. :C

Victory Star is the ability

Are we sure that the move only burns berries?

What if it detroys all items?
I sure do hope so!
@Scicky- I have to go back and check, because if it didn't, kinda bad...
Mario With Lasers, you're amazing, good luck :D
EDIT: Looks like the vid might have cut off, because Victini's sprite kinda froze, but I'm not sure since the HP bar of Miji seemed to stop (like if the damage had been done)...

Boring face-off, nothing can be inferred from it. Everything just had values too low to be used.

And are we sure Complete Burn really is a signature move?
