My guess for Herbivore: When you send out Shikijika, he eats the opponents berries or whatever other plant-based items they have.

According to Pokebeach Herbivore raises attack when hit by Grass-type attacks. So its a grass type flash fire but instead of rasing grass moves it raises attack (unless the translation is wrong).

Thats actually a cool concept; but do we have any grass Pokemon (at the moment anyways) that would really benefit from it? Maybe Carnavine; it would be cool if we got some really awesome Physical sweepers of the Grass Type.

LOl that would be sort of strange due to the names. CARNIvine with HERBIVORE O_o

The Mole-pkmn could become a nice Sweeper in Sandstorm-Teams. I mean, it's a 3-stage-Pokemon, so it's likely that it will have at least one good stat imo =D

I doubt that it'l go 3 stage. I think it's just going to end up with 2. Unless of course I'm out of it and a 3rd has already been revealed/hinted at >.>

No... One would assume it's just 2 lol.

Pretty cool info, really want to see more from the demo. The weird plant and now this fish. And mamanbo better end up being a Luvdisc evolution. :x they look so smiliair...

I think herbivore could be extremely useful. Like as a partner for swampert. Grass type moves can be sooo predictable sometimes. AND YAY SAND POWER!! About time sandstorm did more cool stuff

I meant up to gen IV. Gen V made sense of raising both Attack stats in Growth. I didn't think such a move existed even in gen IV, barring the rare boosts from the likes of Ancient Power. Thanks for catching up with the details. And I actually expected that exact stat distribution, since I expect Victini to be along the lines of Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Manaphy (the small, cute legendaries) hence the expected 100's. I didn't recall watching that specific Pokémon Sunday at all.
Oh, then sorry, in that case, I don't think there's any move right now that raises both. And yeah, he is along those lines of the cute legendaries, hence why he has 600 BST.

Because Sand Veil and boosting SpD was nothing rite

Compared to other weather? Pretty much, yeah. Sun boosts fire moves, makes water type moves worse, boosts solarbeam, makes moonlight etc. more powerful, and is affected by a pooload of abilities, like clorophyl, solar power, dry skin, flower gift and leaf guard. Water does even more, but I'm lazy. Same with hail. Sandstorm does poop.

I'm gonna assume you quoted the wrong message. >_> otherwise man, stopping spamming like that / stop acting like a douchebag.

Anyway, Sunny Day needs some more abilities that benefit from it that aren't on grass types. I'm sure they can make a good ability for fire types to benefit from Sun.

Well, I read that kurumiru is the "sewing pokemon" so I think it's safe to assume it's a silk worm. With that said since it's a grass type it would evolve into a moth looking something like this?

We do have a lot, mostly in Sunny Day: Exeggutor, Sceptile, Tangrowth, Victreebel, etc.. But we know that Sceptile won't be getting it soon...

Except it's the most seen weather, and it's aready seen all the time in OU thanks to being the only weather effect that has 2 auto-enducers outside of OU meaning it avoids the need to set up and worry about the weather going away after 5/10 turns. Sandstorm is definitely not poop lol. Sure 1 or 2 more abilities would be cool but Sandstorm is far from being crappy. Oh and unlike Sun/Rain it also deals damage.

That's true, but there's a reason for it being so spread out, and that's Hippo and ttar. There's a reason there aren't any sun or rain auto inducers in the lower tiers; it'd be way to imbalanced. But I'm not saying sandstorm is poop I guess, just when you compare it to other weather.

yeah the problem is that the ability is called Herbivore. Why the hell would purely plant (remember Shikijika is a deer) Pokemon get it? Plants aren't classified as herbivores >_> they don't eat themselves

and Victreebel and Carnivine... Something tells me they enjoy real meat. Logically only non-plant Pokemon would get like Miltank and Stantler.

Fire-type sun starter = (made up ability) Heliac

Heliac: Creates sunny weather. However, it must be for times 8 AM - 7:59 PM. Lasts for 5 turns.

Fire-type sun/stat boost = (made up ability) Infrared

Infrared = Boosts Sp. Attack under sunny weather.

I don't think any plant should be an HERBIVORE. If there is any other pokemon with that ability it will probably be based on an animal.

Edit: Beaten by Wishy.

Like a fire-type swift swim and fire-type Chlorophyll. Onl y problem is, water type pokemon do actually swim in water, and grass types get energy from sun, but what about fire types? Only boosts in their moves?

What typing do you want for the starters final evolution?

I'd like Mijumaru to have Water/Fighting, Pokabu to have Fire/Psychic and Tsutaja to be Grass/Dark.
