Here's the issue with that Tanz,

please compare the dragon and the bat to their revealed forms. You'll see that every detail down to the shading is perfectly insynch.

Here's another one.

Also, these gifs are coming to you from Suave Squirtal from the Serebii forms.

I was actually going to mention the thing about Koromori and Kibago being perfectly like their OA.

Im going to have to agree with them being on fakes... but only because of the way the images were shown in little cut frames for some odd reason.

anyways its almost time for the games release so im not going to let it bother my mind. If they are real cool with me...i can deal with water&grass. If they are fake I just hope the real ones are good designs and turn out to have decent stats. Im more worried about seeing how the legendary pokemon turn out.... they seem to always be the weirdest ones.

It's a good thing you admitted that these gifs were not made by you or else I would have told you to get another hobby...wouldn't it be funny if the starters evolutions were actually revealed..

btw: the animation concept art is called CONCEPT for a reason. They're only rough sketches, not to mention in black and white so some shading and coloring will appear darker and usual.

Errr... I think there's this big misconception that since some names are wrong that is is beta art where everything is liable to be changed. That's simply not true. They're early sketches done for the anime, true, but think about it this way: why would they be sketching the designs for size comparisons for the anime when their designs are not even finalized? Logically, I'm sure the vast majority of the time, naming comes AFTER a complete design. So this was probably drawn during the point where the designs were finished so that they could be sketched before the comparitively unimportant detail of their names were finalized.

I think a lot of things in these gifs, though, like the ears not being the exact same shape are a bit of reach due to the awful image. However, details that ARE noticeably missing, like the individual toes, are noteworthy.

think the last gif SS brought us brough an incredibly revealing evidence, that being simple porpotional artistic mistakes with the eye, I highly doubt Gamefreak would suddenly turn so lax. Now you may disagree with their more recent designs, but you can't really point out any major artistic errors like he pointed out. The art itself has always been highquality stuff, and to make such an amerature mistake seems unbecoming of gamefreak.

I pray they are fake. Holy crap, how could Gamefreak make ronin otter -> motherfucking horse thing.

Monkey thing looks... cool, I guess. I wonder how aesthetically different the other monkeys will look? The blue one's black sprite looks exactly the same as the green one's...

When is CoroCoro coming? I just got back from vacation today so I'm out of the loop

CoroCoro comes out on the 15th and will most likely leak on the 11th or 12th.

Pokemon Sunday promises to come up with a lot of info on their next episode, which is on the 13th in Japan and the 12th in North America.

One thing that is still really really bugging me is that the proof Pokebeach was given were sprites. Like, specifically sprites. Not images, not screenshots, sprites. I just think that is really strange. I can't believe he would be handed a nice clean sprite and be convinced it was real, though.

It also really bothers me people still say Pokabu3 doesn't look like a pig/boar... you can clearly see its snout and it has tusks, and a boar evolution makes sense...

You are all fucking kidding me if you say you believe this piece of photoshopped shit. Jesus Christ, why am I mad at videogames.

Seriously guys, we're having B/W pre-release info by at least six months now and you still are being so goddamn gullible? Please.

Actually, looking at Mijumaru3 now, I can sorta kinda see how the conch shell and the armor (they're not even really shells...) on its head and arms looks like a samurai helmet and armor respectively. I'm a little surprised I didn't see it before.

Yeah, those pictures look really weird. Come On Gamefreak, why same pokemon but diff colours? More Pokemon = More Fun/Better. I seriously think they are out of ideas for pokemon, which is why just different colours

It's not really hard to notice the differences between the beta artwork and the supposed evolutions. It's not really hard evidence, though, considering that the beta is subject to change from the final product either way.

The photoshop monkey image makes me laugh; just look at the blue one. despite the creator of the image being absolutely lazy, the little dots overlap where the design on the head moves downward. It's like they were just pasted on.

How many of those do you have? lol. However I still like the mijimaru3 even if it doesn't look like a "pokemon" :/. I still like him because I am still hoping for the fighting water type and can see the samurai in the armor and such. But if he is fake I hope the new mijamaru3 knows whats up.

Edit I was referring to the anaylsis of the "new" evolutions

I don't endorse the "Doesn't look like a pokemon" comment nor would I ever use that towards any pokemon. If its a Pokemon its a Pokemon.

+1 Azlanslayer
Seriously Game Freak must be outta ideas to think of different colours. I still hate all the evos, especially Mijumaru3, otter -> narwhal/seal/dog wtf. At least they seem fake.
Evo typings:
Smuglord-Grass/Steel
Hepigstus- Fire/Fighting (fuck)
Mijumaru3- Water/Rock

Are you sure the mustache isn't curled around behind his head?

That would be very curvy. Its always what I just assumed, but I never looked closely at it, it does look pretty off.

And anyway, I'm not sure they don't really look like pokemon individually, but I'd say that the evolutions seem more digimon than pokemon, especially for starter pokemon. I don't mean the evolved forms by themselves, but just how much they change, pokemon generally have a lot in common with all their stages, especially the starters (charmander gets wings, bulbasaur's bulb opens up, and squirtle gets cannons, and they all get bigger. The rest stay pretty much the same, with the exception of torchic and piplup, but at least their middle forms connect them to make it more evident.). Digimon don't share as much with past forms, they change a lot more with each evolution, often getting unrecognizable, like Togemon->Lilymon for example.

To be honest though, each line seems to have a big change with one evolution, while the other two seem to fit together well. For the grass and water starters, their first form matches their second, and pokabu's evolved forms look similar to each other, the places where the line seems to swerve into another direction is with the previously unrevealed pokemon, which was one of the things that made me doubt it in the first place.

Oh man, IF these turn out to be fake, Serebii's gonna be in a world of hurt. People are GUTTING him on /vp/ right now, its not pretty.

Anyone find it ironic that Serebii wouldn't mention Arceus till it's final release, while he has no problem mentioning these evolutions? They haven't even been officially released.

My guess is he just wants to be the first to announce everything.

The Poké Beach guy was beating him to it for a while, so I think he does want to be back on top. While I do like and use Serebii's site, I still can't quite look past the time he said something to the nature of, "It's not true if you haven't seen it here first." The arrogance of that statement left a bad taste in my mouth.
These are the more mild, they are also trying to dig up photos of him as well.

Bulbapedia stepped in during a discussion on /vp/ and made its official stance more clear

http://bulbanews.bulbagarden.net/wiki/2ch,_others_leak_heap_of_Black_and_White_info
See the big unconfirmed and rumour things on there? Bulbagarden's staff are mixed in opinion on this one at the moment. We're reporting on it simply because a number of sites have been running it as confirmed, but I'm personally leaning towards false right now.

Here's the low-down on why this is all up in the air.
1. When our staff were discussing this with the staff of other sites, they said they got this info from an inside source. If they got it from someone separate to Melkor of PokExperto, then the question is who, and how reliable they are as a source. They're refusing to reveal exactly who these sources are.

2. Serebii mentioned to RexRacer (the EiC of Bulbanews) that he had a number of the in-game sprites himself, however that Melkor had all the sprites. We've yet to see the sprites ourselves, so we can't confirm or deny if these are legit based on the info we have.

3. Melkor did get a big scoop with the previous generation in getting a full list of the new Pokémon names well before release (apparently from the same source Serebii had, they had a huge fight on the issue back then as I remember), which gives this a bit more credibility than it might have had otherwise.

4. The instant that these got out, multiple people were already claiming that they were fake and that they had been the ones to fake them, including different pictures of inspirations, etc.

Also, some more gifs
