I can still understand Dusknoir. It's just generally outclassed by Rotom-A :(
Still a pretty awesome Pokemon though.
That's why I put it at first in line, with Ninjask obviously being the Elite Four leader ~__~
Well you have people using the all awesome ninjask leads. I honestly don't know why people use Weavile though.
Weavile is actually rather beastly this time around. Without Mence, it no longer has to run that weak ass Ice Shard, and can just run around tossing Ice Punch all over the place.Plus, if you manage to keep rocks on the field (which is easy because it has flawless synergy with Starmie), there's a surprisingly large amount of attacks it can survive, especially on the special front. If your prediction skills are anywhere near worth shit, you'll discover the payoff and realize exactly why that little weasel is still OU.Electivire and Ninjask work against the LCD, as we all know, so as long as people at the bottom of the ladder get their wins, they're going to continue to use them until they're in the big leagues and discover those gimmicks no longer work all that well.Yeah, now that people have brought it up.. How HAVE Electivire, Weavile and Ninjask stayed OU for the entire duration of Gen IV? Are there really that many terrible people hanging out on the ladder?
Heracross with absolutely decimate UU.
That said, I really think Vire isn't that bad. I have no idea why everyone here's ripping him a new one.

Is Heracross going to be unbanned on the ladder in time for Smogon Tour?
Because, like I said before, now it gets to use Ice Punch instead of Ice Shard, which opens up an incredible number of avenues for it to wreak havoc. Things it had trouble denting before, like Celebi, Gliscor, Breloom, Zapdos, and Shaymin, are now either OHKOed or 2HKOed by Ice Punch. I used to run LO in the Salamence era out of fear that being locked into Ice Shard would make it epic setup fodder, but now that I can run the standard CB set, there are so many more KOs I can garner and attacks it can survive, that it's made its way on some of my most successful teams (two of which have peaked in the 1520s).Weavile is actually worse than before. It wasnt being used by people when it could trap Latias and check Mence why would people use it now?
So now that shaymin is finally in OU, what do you think about competition between it and the other legendary grass type, Celebi? Both have base 100 for all their stats and assuming both are built defensively, which one would be more popular?
Celebi resists fighting type moves and has instant recovery, but dies to pursuit and shadow ball while Shaymin has no instant recovery but isn't trapped by pursuit.
Verdict? Is the pursuit weakness more important than lack of instant recovery?
Weaville is better than Electivire and Ninjask because teams usually have something to deal with those two (even without taking them into too much consideration when building a team). Weaville is grossly underestimated in the current game and could really surprise once it's main counters are taken out (e.g. Scizor).
