Does roar have priority in trick room?

To clarify, Trick Room only reverses the order you move based on Speed. Positive and negative priorities remain the same. However, if you select Roar or Whirlwind with Sleep Talk, it activates right then, possibly before the opponent

I was catching Haunters with Ralts in my first party slot which was Modest Nature. I then caught around ten Haunters and none of them we're Modest. It's meant to be a 50 / 50 % with Ralts Synchronize Ability.

Am I missing something?
The only possible explanations I can think for this are either you were either extremely unlucky or your Ralts doesn't have Synchronize. Keep trying, I suppose. :|a

Im going to ev train my Umbreon when it evolves tonigt from eevee. The moves it will know are: Wish Protect Payback Toxic

What nature should it be? (I was thinking Careful or Sassy) and how many evs in a certain stat and in which stats?

what are the legal hacks?

plz someone answer

Legal hacks mean that the Pokémon or moves are obtained using an outside cheating device like Pokésav or Action Replay, but the same Pokémon or moves could be obtained without cheating. So pretty much they're like shortcuts

or should i just copy the nature and evs of the suppor umbreom i just need a clear answer

Why not? And don't double post, edit your first post

Questions!
If the only damage you take in a turn is from Mirror Coat/Counter/Metal Burst, and you select Mirror Coat/Counter/Metal Burst accordingly, will it reflect the reflected damage?
If a Pokémon selects Mirror Coat, and it is hit first by Psychic, and then by Zen Headbutt, will Mirror Coat still activate or will Zen Headbutt negate it?

Zacchaeus:

First question -- Yes. Counter and the like is a damaging attack like any other. Assuming that both moves are the same, the Pokemon will deal twice the damage received from Counter and the like.

Second question -- Mirror Coat will deal damage based on the last special attack against the user, even if it was hit by a physical attack in between.

My attack description for Counter:
If the last non-user who hit the user with a physical attack this round is one of user's opposing Pokémon, and there is a Pokemon at that non-user's position, deals damage to the Pokémon at that non-user's position equal to 2 times the amount of HP lost by user due to that attack.
Note that it does not read "If the last attack by an opposing Pokemon against the user this round was a physical attack". Such a wording would have changed the answer to the second question.

Is there any particular reason that NFE Pokémon who have been UU but move back down to NU (such as Magneton) are labeled NU rather than NFE? I suppose it doesn't make much of a difference but Smogon strives for consistency of method and this is an area where such consistency seems to be lacking.

Stat Changes (different his time)

Alright, so say that I have a Lv.50 Ninjask with 130 Atk. I want to pass a Swords Dance boost to my Lv. 50 Feraligatr, with 150 Atk. I know that the modifier is (Atk*2.0n) or something like that, but is the transferred increase in attack from Ninjask's calculation, or from Feraligatr's?

For clarity:

Feraligatr's attack after a Baton Passed Swords dance equals...

A. (130*2.0); or
B. (150*2.0), because I transferred it to Feraligatr?

Uhh thanks... but are you sure? o_O I mean really, it sounds far too good to be true ._.

Anyhow, as for the NU/NFE thing, they get labeled that way for certain tournaments with tier restrictions. NFE is pretty much for pokemon that serve no feasible purpose, as far as I know.

Yeah, I'm sure. What's passed isn't the specific amount by which Ninjask's attack was raised, but the multiplier by which the attack was raised. Also the way your A is stated, a pokémon could feasibly have less attack than otherwise after being passed a swords dance (if passed it by a pokémon with less than half their attack stat). I think what you meant was 150+130, but no, that is not the case.

As for the tier listing, I understand what you're saying, but I don't think that's quite right. I know that before a pokémon becomes UU or gets a UU analysis, that pokémon is listed as NFE. If I'm not mistaken, NFE pokémon are NU, for all intents and purposes. Someone simply felt the need to give them another label.

Edit: For instance, this thread contains a UU analysis that is in the works for Haunter. Haunter is currently labeled NFE, but I believe once the analysis is uploaded it will change to NU.

Two Rotom questions:

A) I want to trade a Rotom in, let's say, Frost forme, from my friend's game to my SoulSilver. Will it still be in Frost forme when it arrives? Or do i have to unlock (with an item or something?) that room at Silph Co.?

B) I'm looking for a relatively bulky status-er, who can still pack a punch. Must have WoW and some sort of Paralysis move. Which Rotom forme is best for such a role, and with which moves?

Don't know the answer to the top one sorry.

The second question, I'd have to say Rotom-W. Because WoW hits everything but fire types, and then you can hydro pump the fire types that resist it. Then Thunderbolt for STAB and T-Wave for paralysis.

Can someone spell out for me how to get Shoddy on a flash drive. I can only seem to be able to find the shortcut to copy over. Then when I delete that from the PC it is being used on and run it from the flash, it won't work.

Strangggeee hmm. Aid me in slacking at work people!!!

I'm sure there is a simple way to do it...

Bump.

Why is an EV spread of 252 HP / 140 Def / 116 SpD with a Calm nature recommended for RestTalk Spiritomb? It seems oddly specific so I'm guessing it has a purpose, but I can't seem to find what it is.

Nothing. It just gives Spiritomb the most overall defenses.

Although 252 HP / 140 Def / 116 SpD is recommended on Spiritomb's Smogon page, according to the calculator linked in the "Maximizing Your Defenses" article as well as my own math using the equation given in said article, 252 HP / 144 Def / 112 SpD would provide superior defenses. Is the EV spread listed on Spiritomb's page superior in some way I'm just not seeing, or just a typo?

Rotom loses its form whenever you enter the Wi-Fi Club, the Union Room, or put it in the Day-Care. Not to worry though, merely having a Rotom will unlock the room in Silph Co. Put it at the front of your party so it walks behind you and enter the broken elevator. Your Rotom will fix the elevator and you can access the room.

Why has Salamence's ban caused the rise of Shaymin to OU and FWG cores? What did he do that made those things almost unheard of in OU before?

Resisted all three of fire, water, grass and could easily kill grass types with Fire Blast/Flamethrower.

Waters were always common. There's more of them than any other type, IIRC, and a lot of them can take anything Mence had to offer (besides something like a Specs Draco Meteor) and could retaliate with Ice Beam. Fire types are rarely seen (outside of two) in OU due to weakness to stealth rock (the two OU fire types both take neutral from stealth rock).

2 quick questions:

1) Why is Heracross UU? I can't wrap my mind around that yet.

2) How exactly does Zoroark's ability work, or is that known yet?

Thanks in advance.
