Or, just trap the Mummy pokemon and baton pass to Slaking or Regigigas and hit it physically. Still works
 
Just got an answer from Serebii about when he's gonna get his game. He will get it on Thursday or Friday. And all info will be out into their respective pages so you can check out what you want without spoiling info you don't want to spoil.

I'm hoping nobody will spoil things in this thread. Like the story, the Gym Leaders and their Pokémon, the E4 and their Pokémon etc.

The lati@s aren't allowed in BT either, which is cool. Only Chomp and Mence, but like you just said, they should be taken care of...

We only have to wait until the game is released now to see what the rules are...

hmmm yeah wish they would look into smogon more but to them we're just..."some customers" :(

i still can see PBR random battle rules being applied to the random battles of BW though, which is meh.

The sleep clause thing is weird since I don't think (even in 1v1s) the major asian countries follow that rule

Eh, Latias and Latios are allowed in BT.
 
Gamefreak created a Bug/Electric type, an electric spider. OK, if Pokemon had feelings; Volbeat, Illumise and Ariados would already be VERY pissed at that electric spider. The former two because they rightfully deserve to be part Electric, after all, they are fireflies, how much closer to being Electric can you get, and an electric spider isn't even realistic. Ariados because he is no longer the only spider Pokemon in the game, and that electric spider will probably blow him out of the water in many different ways.

1. Ariados was never alone. Spinarak.
2. Fireflies has nothing to do with electricity.

Unlike those four, the electric spider at least has a chance to be usable in UU.

Yeah, all it need is some nice stats. Only 2 weaknesses and several resistances; that has to mean something.

About BT: Yeah, I haven't played against a Lati@s in singles or play doubles too often, which shows my lack of knowledge in what legend is allowed, XD.

New Bug/Steels: easily UU and above. It all depends on their stats. GF really has to screw one of them over to be NU.
 
So I'm guessing that the pseudo-legendary is Dragon/Dark then. I was hoping it wouldn't be Dragon (like Metagross and Tyranitar), but it'll be interesting to have it with no 4x Ice weakness.

And Bug/Steel is an awesome type combo. It's an event legendary, so I'd guess it's stat total would be 600 or higher. Scizor's stat total is 500, so it could be VERY good.

There's 2 more though. A spider and a bug that has knight armor. XD

Anyone wonder if the supposed sea pokemon(lamprey, etc) that doesn't have a water type, if they'll still be found in the sea?

Agreed, the only Pokemon in OU and UU that resist its STABs are Gliscor, Magnezone, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Rotom, and Steelix. There's no type that can cover all of them, but HP Ice or Ground will probably be used and that really only leaves Rotom-A and Blissey as reliable counters if it has good SpAtk. It could get U-turn as well to give it a chance to hit Blissey.

Though, even with all that, I think it will end up low OU since SR will hinder its ability to switch in often.

Edit: It looks like we're getting another atleast OU spider in the event legendary. I wonder if it will make Scizor and/or Forretress drop.
 
Wait, so the spider is the one with the laser cannon? I thought there was only one bug legendary, the thing with the laser cannon that's bug/steel.

what is the difference?


i still find hard to believe the fire starter will be ANOTHER fire/fighting...but even worst, it dont look fast at all, so its either bulky, shitty or both. and with starmie around the corner i doubt he will even reach low OU.
 
I vaguely remember someone saying PxP was planning to reveal all sprites on 9/15. Can anyone confirm that or am I just losing my mind from refreshing the twitter feed every 5 seconds?? At the rate Melkor has been leaking numbers they should all be revealed by then...
