Enter Union Room. Lady on the left in the Pokemon centre, always pick first option.
Talk to the person from the game you're linking with. Choose option 2.
Next menu will have several menus.
Option 1 brings you to a menu with 5 options. Option 1 is Single, 2 is Doubles, 3 is Triples, and 4 is Rotation. The last one is just cancel.
Option 2 brings you to a menu with 3 options, anything goes, random battle rules, and cancel.
Option 3 is whether Miracle Shooter is on or off. Yes, No, and Cancel.
Option 4 is accept.

Edit: I guess I'm going to need more specific instructions. The lady in the room just seems to repeat herself and keeps asking the same question at the end of a choice, like she's explaining things, not like she's setting up a battle. There seem to be more options than those given above for setting up a battle and it's not obvious which option I should press, plus I can't seem to get the pokemon to enter battle at level 100. As a note, I don't usually battle. I need this so I can do IV battles, not for competition, so it's a very specific job I'm trying to accomplish. I'm on a retail game, not a ROM hacked to have English translations.
If i kill borutorosu will he respawn if i beat E4 again?
Can Smeargle Sketch Genosekuto's Techno Buster (move) and utilize those Element Tapes (items) so Smeargle can Techno Bust to different types in a similar manner as when Judment (move) is/was Sketch? Or is Genosekuto the only one to use the Tapes, essentially limiting a Tecno Buster Smeargle?

Also does anyone know what affects the item you get from that guy in the Hiun City Pokemon Center? I've gotten a Scope Lens and a Wide Lens. I understand he also hands out a Zoom Lens and a Choice Scarf(!), and possibly other stuff. All I know is I spoke to him when I first came to Hiun City about two weeks ago and got a Scope Lens, and I just went to him now and got a Wide Lens. I tried switching the day forward and not talking to him and that did nothing. He says something about the number 6, dunno what that means. Anyone know anything?

Nobody can trade spare TMs. They can't be held by Pokemon because they are now multi-use, like HMs.

Since there is no transferring items to 5th gen from the previous games, is there a way to get giratina's origin form, or shaymin's sky form? Also, will rotom lose it's appliance form if transferred?
You get the Griseous Orb from someone in-game and Rotom once again has a special place to change its forms. The Gracidea Flower for Shaymin hasn't been discovered yet, I don't think.
Is Victini better off as a Physical or Special sweeper? I just downloaded my Liberty Ticket off wi-fi and I'm looking for the right nature. :D
Like any of the 100-all-rounds it is up to you, but I like a hasty/naive so that I can go mixed when needed. That being said, many of it's special moves are stronger and/or take advantage of the +10% accuracy. Fire Blast becomes 93, Overheat boosted to 99, and it has thunder/focus blast as well. Those those are only boosted to 77. Charge Beam can also be used as a psuedo-stat booster with 99 acc and a good chance for the boost.
On the physical side it gets some strong moves in Flare Blitz and (the decently strong) Wild Bolt, as well as an acc boosted Zen Headbutt. Not a whole lot else from what I saw, however, it's movepool is rather limiting.

What does the ability mummy actually do?
It just makes the pokemon who makes contact with the poke have the ability mummy too, nullifying the ability it had before until it switches out.
Can someone list all the really good physical walls in this gen?

nattorel, gigaisu, iwaparesu, zulzkin, desukan, abagora, and kobalon are all pretty good physical walls. as for mismagius i would assume it serves the same role it did last gen although i havent really looked into it
