Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

What can I use to search all years for a seed. I want a hexflawless Shiny and I don't want to search each year individually. Please help =)
Also, feel free to suggest programs, etc. Method K, btw.
What you could do is set a larger delay range to represent each year.
EDIT: As Winter Zombie said there are few hexflawless spreads. Along with that, you need a good ID/SID that you'll need to abuse for unless you get very lucky. Also, instead of changing years you might want to try out pikatimer/emloop.

Wait are you breeding or catch? Breeding wise it's two separate seeds. Catching, there are only a few hexflawless spreads, and you'd have to have the right ID/SID in order to make them shiny.

Why do I keep hitting odd delays when I trying to hit an even delay and why do I keep hitting even delays when I'm trying to hit an odd delay?

If you're using Diamond or Pearl, there's really no way to control whether the delay is odd or even. It's very annoying, and I would definitely recommend Platinum/HG/SS if possible.

If you're using Platinum, then you can change the delay from odd to even or vice-versa by removing/inserting a GBA game or raising/lowering the year by 1.

If you're using HG/SS, then use RNG Reporter's Seed to Time feature to find your seed/delay, and if your delay is even and you need it to be odd or vice-versa, then you can change it by scrolling to the bottom of the "Continue"/"New Game"/etc. menu and back up before selecting "Continue."

when im trying to pick up my egg from the daycare man should i make it so that i can see the two cowgirls and the pachurisu? or would it be better for them not to be shown at all? can they still advance the frame even if they're not on the screen?

currently i can see only one cowgirl. should i save again and make sure i can see both cowgirls and the pachurisu?

It really doesn't matter. To answer the question in the bolded part of your post, yes, they can advance the frame even if you can't see them. In fact, it's basically guaranteed that they WILL advance your frame, which is why you have to calibrate to see what they most frequently advance your frame to.

OK another question (sorry to flood with so many questions)

my current frame is 6. my target frame is 8
8-6 = 2
2/2 = 1

meaning ONE journal flip

the first page on my journal says "captured pokemon"
so i should make no flips right?

I am BREEDING

If you are capturing and still need to sweet scent for the Poke, or throw the rod, DO NOT ADVANCE ANY FURTHER.
If you're on frame 6, than go to sweet scenting (it's +2 frames), so you'd land on 8.

Hey guys. I started to RNG abuse about two weeks ago (a user named Buba has helped me a alot, and I'm very grateful to him). I have only RNG'd legendaries in Platinum, actually I catched all 18 legendaries of Platinum with perfect IV's (with the exception of things like Pokemon with a specific Hidden Power). Yesterday I started to RNG Jirachi (it's the SMR2010 Jirachi with Draco Meteor, haven't picked it up yet from the Delivery Man). I'm trying to get a Timid Jirachi with Hidden Power Ground 70, but for some reason it's IV's are completely random every time.

I use the seed 5c160382 and my target frame is 46. As far as I'm concerned, I do everything correctly: I use Method 1, there is one legendary Pokemon roaming at the moment in my save (Mesprit to be accurate), my journal pops up immediately when I press "continue save", there is only one wandering NPC in the Pokemart I'm in (Jubilife City), I pick up Jirachi immediately after closing the Journal (I've saved the game right in front of the Delivery Man) and I do the Journal Flips (22) immediately when I hit "continue save". I've gotten the right delay for this something like 10 times but every time Jirachi's IV's are completely random. Could someone please help me with this one?

Hi all

this is my first post on smogon, even tho I've been browsing the site and forums for quite a while (and I would have probably stopped playing pokemon if I hadn't found smogon). I'm pretty new to the pokemon games as I've started playing them (with Diamond) a couple months ago and I started RNG'ing last week.
I can RNG shiny flawless eggs easily on my diamond game but I never seemed able to find a good realistic combination (like below 10k frames) for capturing shinies with good IV's (for legendaries only as I prefer breeding when it's possible) either on my Diamond, Pt or HG/SS current saves. I know shiny is based on TID/SID and as I was about to start a new Platinum game, I figured I'd try to abuse my TID/SID on it to have good spreads for shinies with good IV's. So that's what I tried to do last night. I've stopped at 3am because I have to work in the morning but I was almost there (just a couple delays off so I'll get it tonight).
But then this morning I started to wonder something. There must be hundreds of people who already abused their TID/SID and in order to do so, you have to find a good PID to generate a good seed for the SID. I believe the PID generated through the IVs to PID function of RNG Reporter (what a great tool by the way)
isn't based on TID/SID so everyone should have the same PID for the same Nature/IVs combination (please correct me if I'm mistaken).
So my question is, if I use the same PID as someone else (and I probably will as I chose a pretty obvious one), I might end up with the same TID/SID combination. Could that be an issue, like for playing online or trading or events (even if on Pt events will be unlikely)?

It's possible you could get the same SID/TID, but there are many different combos that result in the same shiny PID that unless someone went out of their way to pick the same combo, it's not really a big problem.

PokeRNG is already a program that just requires clicking. Edit: If you're asking about how to install it, maybe you downloaded a crunched package, in which case you need to unpack the program before you can use it.

Like I said, it may be a crunched package, in which case you need to unpack it with an unpacking program. Since I don't know exactly what you downloaded, I'm only guessing.

Edit: I never had to rename it when I got it. That's just weird.

Another edit: I just downloaded it again from the link in the guide, and I still didn't have to rename it.

Do I do this during the Pikatimer countdown or is it okay to insert it before I start the countdown?

Yes! Today, I decided to start trying again, and I got my shiny egg no problem, and a few tries after, I got my flawless Adamant No Guard Machop! Yay! I'm stoked now! :D

I have a question about Wondercard RNG though, is that different in a lot of ways from breeding? Or are there simalarities?

Thanks to everyone for their help!

One other question: If I'm catching Groudon, Kyogre, or Rayquaza, and their monster frame is 1, and I need the frame to be 100, I advance the frame 99 times?

Or are they considered wandering Pokemon? Because if they are I need to jump the frame 98 times.

I want to RNG my Jirachi but I'm not quite sure I understand how to do it. I know it's a wondercard Pokemon so I need to put that in RNG reporter tab. Do I need to look for spread with JavaRNG? If someone could explain me step by step how to do it, by PM/VM or here, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Okay, Well, my delay is an even number (1208)
So if I'm getting odd delays, will scrolling all the way down at the very bottom of the Continue screen and then back up to the continue slot make the odd delays that I'm getting into even numbers?
