Didn't see this one on the OP. Kangaskhan with Counter (egg move)
 
Someone should hack up a female Croagunk or a hatched Croagunk with egg moves to see if it's allowed on Wi-Fi. If it is, we're probably missing something here.

Likewise for the Eeveelutions.
 
I also got a male Croagunk. I am also fed up with playing these stupid minigames in this lame forest. Darn needing 5200 points for area 2.
 
I don't have WiFi, though I'd be perfectly happy grinding out for everything. As I have a flashcart lying around somewhere, couldn't I rip my game, and use a bunch of saves to get a number of Croagunks, grinding for a female? I think I'm going to try that at my earliest opportunity.

*EDIT* It just occurred to me I don't have to rip my game, just the save. Then restart, and so on and so forth. Gonna go get a wifi adapter/wireless router at some point this week.

Edit: Actually, Poison Hand Toxicroak would have been pretty cool with Cross Chop and Fake Out (and maybe even Bullet Punch or Me First, but definitely Cross Chop and Fake Out), so even that's a shame.



My reply's probably too late now, but you could have just logged back in and everything probably would have been there. Unless you were logged out because you went over the time limit, which is a different story.

A few days ago there was random maintenance that totally shut down the Dream World and I was in while it happened, which might be similar. Basically my Pokemon was still asleep and I went right back in, picked up whatever my choice was from the previous day, logged out, woke up my Pokemon, put it back to sleep right after, and went back in for a fresh run. Hopefully that's how things go for you.





Edit: Still no new discoveries (if there even are any left :P), but I do want to say my point gain has gone up by 100-150 per day just by adding two people and watering berries and swapping items around. I'd love to do even more of that because, seriously, the forest is so old by now and I want to upgrade ;P and I did add everyone in this thread, so if you don't have me yet, let me know...

Yes, I was logged out because I went over the time limit on my pokemon black. :/ As for my pokemon white, I got my female lotad and male croagunk now. Thanks for replying.

Gotta love the riveting, unpredictable nature of Nintendo's online flakiness. :P Last night I could see Kudan on White but not Black, and today I can see ciderVicious on Black but not White.

But whatever--I'll just pass out Chople and Passho Berries in the Dream World as I'm able to depending on who sees what game, and I have Wacan and Shuca Berries growing for the future (thanks Maurii on those latter two!).

Female Croagunk worked, without any egg moves, but I tried it with me first and no go, so the possibility exists.
 
I think I've added most codes now. Hopefully we can water each others berries soon! (that sounds a bit weird!)

I can get online most of the weekend but am traveling about quite a bit at the moment with work and am never sure whether the hotels I am in have wifi or not until I get there. :( It's great to have my ds to keep me entertained on all the trains!
 
Haven't there been iffy results with hacked Pokemon on random wi-fi?
Some block old gen moves, some blocked otherwise legitimate, some thoroughly hacked ones were let on with no problems, etc
For example, I also recall hearing that Shadow Tag Shanderra wasn't let on, but then ALSO heard that someone was fighting a Shadow Tag Shanderra despite that.

Basically: Can we really use hacking to test if something could be female if there's always a seemingly random chance of it working or not?

Sure. We just can't use it to officially declare that DW Toxicroak with egg moves is legal. But we can use it to decide whether or not to bother with getting more sample Croagunks.

I don't think the Wi-Fi checks ban specific genders, at least not for Croagunk. But I do think it might ban certain combinations of ability + egg moves. Or it might ban a wild Pokemon that knows egg moves.
 
Hey guys, I'll be Wi-Fi idling until midnight ET tonight (the next 3 hours). Had a horrible time with the DW last night and literally got nothing of interest, not even a female pokemon of note. Thanks for all the FCs!

Tested it:
- I hacked the DW Croagunk I get to change his gender to female: it is allowed on random WiFi.
- Also I breed this female Croagunk with a male Hariyama (get 17 eggs: 15 males & 2 females), tried to enter to random WiFi with a male and a female Croagunk with Poison Hand and egg moves (Fake Out, Bullet Punch & Cross Chop). Both the male and the female were allowed on WiFi.

Is it possible that Croagunk's gender ratio was simply changed in B/W? This is consistent with an 87.5% male/female ratio, as opposed to 50/50. It wouldn't be the first time, as when Azurill was introduced we had pokemon that changed genders when they evolved.

Perhaps DW Pokemon have different gender ratios? As females pass the abilities along, I could see this being the case. After all, Quiet Eruption Heatran and GF liking to troll us.

*EDIT* I checked the ripped data, and Croagunk has a gender ratio of 127, or 50%/50%. So they didn't change the main gender ratio.

I added a few people and am just sort of chilling in wifi. If you want to "meet", just VM me so I can make sure I have your friend code. All we have to do is see each other in the room (right?)

Last night's DW experience was average. I should be able to get my third row of berries tonight, however. I took a female Exeggcute to maybe breed for a Harvest-abusing Exeggutor.
 
From what I understand you have to make contact with someone to fully register them (meaning just talking to them once in the wifi room)

Added the majority of the people in this thread I think. Idling in wifi for probably the next few days.

Also, is it just me, or does the Pelipper level not randomize itself? I think I have it memorized now.
 
I think I could do the Pelliper one in my sleep now. It's quite a nice game though. I don't like the ice cream one much, I think it's the most boring one out of them all. I like the hide and seek ones the best.

Has anyone made it to the other areas yet? Do they have different games or the same as the forest?
