Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

Musica: Oh, if it's SS then you just need to wait a bit for it. Remember that 1second = 60delays so getting the second right isn't normally the hard part - haha. There is some luck factor in there in hitting a specific delay. Pikatimer's help, you'll do it :)

I am trying to look for Jolly/Adamant/Bold natures in the RNGReporter for Method K Pokes, but no results come up. I'm searching within a delay range of 610-640 and a max frame of 150.

Anyone have seeds that might be able to help, or at least point me in the right direction? For example, on Adamant, I'm selecting 31 IVs for all stats except SpA, which I don't know what to put for. I usually just put "None" but I think I can't get results that way. I don't know what ==, <=, =>, !=, etc means.

== means exactly equal
>= means greater than or equal to
<= means less than or equal to
!= means not equal to

The E and O may stand for even and odd.
The others may have something to do with hidden power, but I don't know how it works. These are the big ones though.

Edit: You may want to lower your qualifiers to get results. I've been getting good results using atk >= 30, hp,def,spDef,speed >= 25

Ah good, I was on the right track (that's what I assumed they meant).

When looking for Adamant/Jolly/Bold natures, what do I fill in and not fill in? I can't to find any results every time I look through certain delays or frames, so I think I'm doing something wrong. I'm supposed to be looking under the "Time Finder" and "Capture" tab right?

Don't put anything in for spAtk since you don't really care. Make sure you're on method K. If you're looking for a specific nature, use the nature drop down, if you have a syncher (as I suggest you do), use the respective drop down. You may want to consider removing one of your specifications. Sometimes I have to set HP to none.

Ah, well I've been following these exact steps aside from removing HP. I'll give that a try, as well as leaving SpA blank instead. And, it might be possible that most of what I'm looking for is not in the 600-700 delay range. I'd like to keep it within 150 frames.

Ah. I didn't realize you were keeping it in the 600-700 range. The last one I had was 1789. You're going to want to widen that.

I will increase the range, but I imagine it's going to be a long search (I'm going to see if I find a good Adamant/Jolly/Bold spread within 150 frames and somewhere in the 700-1800 delay range).

I'm going to start RNG'ing Entei, Raikou and Latios in SoulSilver. I read that RNG'ing them is different because they are Roamers and Roamers advance the frame randomly in HG/SS. Is there any kind of guide for RNG'ing these Pokemon and I would be more than pleased if someone could help me with these.

You probably don't need to have such high frames if you don't want it to take so long.

@Miku: Check the first page. If it's not there, I'm not sure. I haven't got around to doing those myself.

Well I was thinking of reducing the frames to around 90 to cut the time almost in half.

Okay I've attempted to do the Calibration Phrase again.
I soft reseted, pressed A hardcore, caught the pokemon then entered it into RNG Reporter in the "Find Initial seed by Stats". the seconds was 3 seconds and the delay is 602.
Is that meant to be correct.

Are you softresetting when the clock hits zero? Because those seconds seem quite off.

Does the first gender percentage (50%) on the reporter also work on the wild pokemon in the water and the sea?

And do the other gender percentages (for the pokemon) on the reporter go for?

As in, are all the gender ratios correct?

I wouldn't see why location makes a difference. To my understanding it is determined by the same thing regardless of where you are, so all of the gender columns should be fine.

No, no, no. I wasn't asking are they all correct. I'm simply asking what does each of the gender ratio go for?

The others told me the first gender ratio goes for wild pokemon.
And the second gender ratio goes for pokemon like Snorlax.

So my question is what does the other two gender ratios go for?

I'm asking because I'm trying to rng capture a wild bold (male) Wailord with Electric hp but the 3 seeds that I found only have a Female gender ratio for the pokemon in the wild.
