(Archive) Small Objective Changes Thread

I just noticed that Bronzor only needs 4 EVs for Attack to bring it up by one more point. The EV Spread should be changed to:

220 HP / 4 Atk / 148 Def / 4 SpA / 68 SpD / 12 Spe

EDIT: Never mind, it has HP Ice. Thanks Flora for clearing that up!

Found a couple more issues with an analysis (I can already hear Komodo groaning)

In the Hypnosis set:
Beware of Early Bird Houndoom and Kangaskhan, and Sleep Talk.
The "and" needs to be changed to a comma.

In the Tricking Baton Passer set:
Encore might be a little more free if you prefer that, but you don't have to keep using Trick.
To be honest, I don't even know what this sentence is supposed to tell us.

In Umbreon's only set, he's given a Careful (SpD+/SpA-) nature. This should be changed to Calm (SpD+/Atk-) as it possesses no attacks whatsoever, and a lower attack nature would be preferred over a lower special attack nature due to less damage taken.
A small change, I know, but that's what this thread is for anyways.

*from confusion.

Sorry, forgot to include the keyword, haha. >_>

i've said similar things before (i know, arguably it would be best to also give him a zero attack iv) but i don't think it's something we consider when writing analyses. in any case, umbreon isn't taking any dynamicpunches any time soon.

in fact, in this case i would probably prefer careful just in case umbreon has to struggle (especially since that set is vulnerable to taunt)

In the Nasty Plot set for Meowth, the EV spread is: 76 Def / 196 SpA / 36 SpD / 196 Spe, but with HP Fire, it should have 76 Def / 200 SpA / 36 SpD / 196 Spe or 76 Def / 196 SpA / 36 SpD / 200 Spe, because HP Fire lowers your SpA and Spe IV by 1, but you only have 4 remaining EVs to spare.

In the Dual Screens set for Abra, the EV spread is: 236 HP / 76 Def / 196 Spe. However, as mentioned by Eric the Espeon, we should pit it on the lowest possible amount, which would result at 236 HP / 76 Def / 192 Spe. With 192 Spe instead of 196 because they both produce the same amount of speed.

In the Fake Out lead set for Aipom, the EV spread is: 72 HP / 196 Atk / 236 Spe, however, 72 HP EVs might as well be 0 as they don't improve Aipom's HP stat, you'll need 76 HP EVs for there to be any stat differences in Aipom.

In the Mix Scarf set, Remoraid's EVs are: 240 SpA / 236 Spe, and it can produce the exact same stats with an EV spread of 236 SpA / 236 Spe. The Special Scarf set has 240 SpA / 236 Spe but is correct because it has HP Ground or HP Grass, but the Mix Scarf set has no Hidden Power, so it can be reduced to 236 SpA / 236 Spe.

Wow, Chimchar's lead set is messed up beyond all recognition. It's original EVs are 4 HP / 56 Atk / 216 SpA / 4 SpD / 188 Spe, and you can use 24 Atk / 156 Spe / 200 SpA for the same stats...

Actually Belphagor, I just looked at it and with 4 HP EVs, you get an extra point, with 24 Atk EVs, you DON'T get an extra point, with 156 Spe EVs, you reach 14 instead of 15, and with 200 SpA EVs, you reach 14 instead of 15 also.

Did you do something wrong?

I must have put in the wrong nature or something, cause when I tested it, everything was wrong, sorry guys, but I checked and DOUBLE checked... maybe it's the stress of 4 exams a day...
