Take a good look at the humanshape egg group, all kinda have human anatomy, but the faces and other such characteristics resemble animals more (although, Gothhfkdfgjfkkjb resembles something more human, but she's based off of a fashion style and not an animal so w/e).Dude, it's his fakemon. It can look absolutely nothing like a pokemon, and still be a fakemon. Let people do their stuff the way they wanna. Plus, Yilx is a boss artist, taking over Smeargle's Studio one masterpiece at a time. If he wants human faces on HIS (her?) fakemon, then let it be.
And Yilx, I've been a huge fan of you stuff for many CAPs. You always manage to make some amazing pieces of art. Keep it up dude (dudette?)!

Dude be fare. I can see your point but you're far to blunt in your explanation and it just comes across as rude, whether you meant it or not its still not a good impression to give.
First it's Yilx's work she can do as she pleases with it.
Secondly, its a badass picture, don't criticise it. The shading is brilliant and smooth, no roughness whatsoever. It also follows the light source
excellently so no flaws there. Relative proportions are all good, and did I mention its badass?
Also gamefreak are kinda running out of animals to imitate, especially when they're producing things like this...
And lastly a lot of other pokemon have lots of human human traits, especially facial aspects: doreidia, hitmonchan, those new 5th gen monkeys things whose names escape me.

Haha. Sorry for being so blunt (it was like, 3am when I was posting) - it's just something I've noticed. It's not that the face is necessarily bad, it's just that it seems to be the same face found on nearly all the fakemon the user's been drawing, there's nothing wrong with asking someone to push themselves.
And yes they can do /whatever they want to do/ but I'm not telling them to do whatever I want them to do, any suggestion I make is simply that - a suggestion, something I think they could improve on. All the Pokemon you mentioned (and I mentioned them too) have human characteristics, but incase you didn't notice with the monkeys and Hitmonchan is that the human characteristics are very basic. Unlike Mr.Mime and Gothllklfdlkn and Jynx who represent only fashion styles (and thus are meant to look people wearing clothes.
Monkeys are monkeys and will look a little bit like humans no matter what, but they still resemble monkeys more than they do humans. Doredia still resembles a plant more than she does a human, and Meloetta resembles this cute fairy muse thing-y more than she does a human.
Houndoom looks great, no big complaints. I would suggest looking at the varying thickness of his limbs though. His two front limbs are completely different sizes (the one farthest away is bigger??), same with his back legs (the one farthest away in the back also looks like its twisted in a different direction than the rest of the limbs, and doesn't show the same muscles the other back leg does). Looks cool though~
EDIT: Also, poison Pokemon aren't always meant to imitate animals (although if you'll notice - it looks like a rat), Poison Pokemon are abstractions of types of pollution or Poisoning. Land Pollution (Datsu), Air Pollution (Weezing), Water Pollution (Muk), Food Poisoning (Swalot). Obviously Arbok and Seviper don't do this because the Poison typing comes from being a snake rather than a representation of pollution/poisoning, but, you know what I mean yes?
