All DW starters [from all gens] that have been released have been male only correct? So that means no egg moves?

That's kinda lame because I wanted to try out a Stockpile Torterra and not have any nasty crits screw me over

what about infernape or tyranitar?they both can hit hard and can work particularly good as leads...i would also recommend mamoswine and metagross but have a fire weakness(if your playing dw then mamoswine can have thick fat...)i mean those are some pokemon that can be physical attackers and can lay down the rocks...
 
I feel as though this is a dumb question, and that the answer is located right in front of me, but I was wondering... How could I become part of the Grammar-Prose Team? I would like to contribute somehow to the Fifth Generation OU Analyses, and I'm making the assumption that, as a relatively new member, this is the best way to help.

Thick Fat Mamoswine is currently available in Standard OU, to my knowledge. And I'd also suggest Terrakion as a sweeper. Its STABs are possibly the best combination in all of Pokemon. It can also take care of Bug- and Fire-type weaknesses that plague Lilligant, and it can also take care of opposing Flying-types with a strong STAB Rock Slide or Stone Edge.
 
For people here with North America Club Nintendo accounts, do you have both Black and White in the "Intend to Buy" section?

That's odd... I have Pokemon White only on my intend to buy list... Black isn't there. And yes, I have a North American account.
Good thing I'm buying White :P
 
Could someone do me a favor and calc a Max Atk Adamant CC from Terak (no LO) on a Borotorosu (assuming 4 HP and a neutral Def nature). Would it have koed at 45%? I can't download a 5th gen calc and it would settle some doubts about my tour match. ty

Minimum damage is ~48.1%
Maximum damage is ~56.6%
Not 100% sure about the calcs as I used Google though...
 
Should I wait for Pokemon Black and White to come out then focus on the metagame, or should I prepare beforehand so I can get into it as soon as possible. I want to keep up with the rest of smogon. So should I prepare and do my research on the 5th gen metagame beforehand or wait till it is released (1 month from now)

Still, it enables me to deal with various kinds of bulky Pokemon...what speical Luacrio sets are viable other than Nasty Plot?
Also, Occa Berry or Balloon on LeadGross?
 
What happened to the Smogon server on PO? It doesn't appear on the server select screen

EDIT: Now its happening again..... probably just some problems or something.
 
If you are already running Blizzard, Ice Breath is better imo, since you lose 10 base power at the cost of being able to kill CMers. But of course we can't tell you the filler move unless we know the rest of the set >.>
