I thought the same he posted. Just 8 boxes. Should I release some or am I stuck with having to fill 24 boxes now? Will it keep increasing? What's the max? About to give up, urhgjggg.
I know it's impossible to get a shiny, but I can't RNG now. I'm sure video tutorials will come out eventually.
You'll have to fill all 24. 720 minus whatever you already caught. Sure it wouldn't be easier to just learn to RNG now? It's not that complicated. Alternately, you could do what I did and do a normal playthrough to check out all the post-game content, then start a new one to RNG the legendaries.
There's a lot of ambiguity at that level without access to the Hidden Power checker, judge, and so on, and you can't see nature in battle, so you have to lose the subsequent battle before you can check it with any reasonable degree of accuracy. Still possible, but it takes longer than your average stationary legendary (of course, the others don't require you to fill up your entire PC either).
A question...related to a trade...would someone be kind enough as to trade me the Power items? (i.e. Power Brace, etc.) If this is the wrong sopt to post this, could someone tell me the link?
to icyMan28: What voodoo said, combined to the fact that seeing the actual stats of the pokemon, helps you calibrate to reach the right seed, like i said previously even the wrong spread is important so that way you can know how far you have been for the wanted target time.

Provided you're reasonably certain you were roughly near your seed it shouldn't be too difficult, though, right? There's not that much ambiguity at level 50; if, for instance, you get Zekrom with stats of 175/187/140/126/120/110 you can be certain it's Adamant with either a 30 or a 31 in every stat (and if that isn't your seed, it should at least be good enough to keep anyway!).

Wait... trapping moves only work when the Pokemon with the trap move is on the field?
You can't just switch out right away and they'll still be trapped for 4-5 turns...?

More specifically in the context of competitive battling, it means taking advantage of the way the RNG creates numbers in order to get a particular set of stats on a Pokémon you catch or breed. In other words, it's the most efficient way to get flawless IVs (31 in everything).
There's also a RNG in the damage calculation formula.
True, but people rarely refer to it as such, and it's usually obvious by the context.
On the po server click the stats link at the top of the chat, it shows every tier, click the one you play and you get usage stats for every mon - click a mon for set usage.
Sooo question...how does one go about getting Dark Pulse and Earth Power on Hydreigon? They're listed in his egg moves but no possible parents other then its own line...
It can learn Dark Pulse through Arbok or Seviper, and Earth Power through Garchomp. It can't learn both at once, unless I missed something.
I was told that the way wide lens and zoom lens work, is by taking a percent of the move's base accuracy. Is the way they work any different in gen V?
Do they apply like Hone Claws, as a simple boost to accuracy, do they provide a flat accuracy increase althogether, or do they really just increase each move's accuracy?
For example with Focus Blast, how would each lens effect it's overall accuracy? Because the way I was told it worked in Gen IV, it would max out at 84, and I really, REALLY hope that isn't the case.
Err, another question too; is there a potential reader dude in Black/White, to tell you if your guys are relatively superior, outstanding, ect, and if so(which I dearly hope), where is he?
