Tangelo, take a Totodile. It must only fight against opposing water and grass types. Switch out should any other type come into play.

Sounds easy enough, if something better comes along I might change my mind but for now I like it.

1.Totodile-Only fight water/grass types.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

Take a Mareep. It must keep Tackle, Growl and Thundershockat all times and must solo one Elite Four member of your choosing.

Boooo :-(

Well then, how's this for something different:

* When you reach the Ruins of Alph, encounter an Unown. Use a Pokemon that starts with the letter that Unown is. (If you can only get your chosen Pokemon by evolving from another not starting with the relevant letter, do the evolution without battling.)

* Once you have your chosen Pokemon, go back to the Ruins of Alph and encounter four more Unown. The letters of these Unown denote the starting letters of moves the Pokemon is allowed to use in battle. (It doesn't have to be one move per letter; if you get one T Unown and one Q Unown you could run Tackle and Take Down, and no move starting with Q, for example). If you're unlucky and NONE of the four Unown correspond to usable moves for your Pokemon, you can keep encountering more Unown until you get a usable move.

* Nickname the Pokemon using only the four letters corresponding to the allowed moves, rearranging, duplicating, and/or adding non-letter symbols if you want. (A handy way to remember the restriction.)

* You can only evolve the Pokemon if the evolved form still starts with the same letter.

Hopefully it's not too complicated. If you wish, you may solve all four puzzles before encountering the Unown, as long as you use Repels to prevent an early encounter. (I am unsure if all four puzzles need to be solved to make all 26 letters appear).

@wtangelo
Bring a mantine namedManhunt. It must solo every male cooltrainer. Additionally, it may never know any HMs outside of Surf.

Accepted, definetly. Very creative and an awesome challenge.

I'm saying no on the Manhunt. Sorry, not a good challenge IMHO

1. Totodile- VS. Water/Grass types
2. Unknown Letters Poke
3.
4.
5.
6.

@wtangelo, take a Bellsprout named Sprout. Sprout is terrified of you denying it, so it must prove its power by soloing Union Cave. Also, as soon as possible, it must know at least two moves that can inflict the opponent with some kind of status, such as Confusion, Sleep, etc. It can evolve whenever you want, but after evolving to Victreebel, it cannot learn any new moves. After evolving to Victreebel, change its name to Vine.

Bring an Onix named WhinyBaby. It must solo either chuck or price without using any normal type attacks. Since you can't trade it can't evolve. It must be the highest level member of your party at all times. The only item it may hold is a przcureberry and it may only be used against the elite 4 if it eats 5 przcureberries before you reach victory road.

Diamond Scramble 8 Members

1, Treadshot A1
Pachirisu, MEP: must be -SpA, leads in every battle that no other team member has to solo (like FreshlyCut on Spiritomb or Fantina), and may never be healed through items, only at the centers or in-game NPC's, no means of teleportation (no use of Teleport, Dig, or Fly, or Escape Rope)

2, ObsidianRanger
Bibarel, Jawz: only STABs and status moves are allowed, may solo the Hearthome Gym except Fantina (soloed by FreshlyCut instead)

3, Samurai 796
Stunky, FreshlyCut: evolve to Skuntank upon learning a full moveset consisting of special attacks only, no status moves either; must solo Fantina and Spiritomb; once Skuntank, for every 5 GL/E4 Pokemon it KOs, excuding the mandatory solos, may delete a special move for a physical or status move, of course only as a Skuntank and solos prior to evolution will not count

4, Its_A_Random
Abra, Psichic: must learn and keep Teleport / Hidden Power, no restrictions on evolution, solo a Gym Leader of choice

5, ironman
Chimchar, NOweak: always know only STAB, solo every type it is weak to and isn't reserved for another team member

6, TM13IceBeam
Zubat, UltraBatty: it's very, very BATTY and thus must keep Wing Attack, solo Maylene for Golbat and Byron for Crobat

7, EEVEE3
Cranidos: Only use moves that require use of its head (list is Headbutt/Zen Headbutt/Head Smash), and may also have one stat-boosting move

8, kingofkongs
Shellos, UShelly?: if it's an East Sea, only learn special, if it's a West Sea, only know physical; when another member gets hit super effectively by a move UShelly? resists, swap to UShelly? next turn, unless said team member has the solo requirement in that Poke

wtangelo takes the Odd Egg. It must hatch before you arrive in Ecruteak. If it hatches Shiny, it must keep Dizzy Punch forever. If it hatches Smoochum or Magby, it must solo Erika. If it hatches Elekid, it must solo Misty. If it hatches Igglybuff or Cleffa, it must solo Morty as a Baby. If it hatches Pichu, it must solo Red's Pikachu as a Pikachu. If it hatches Tyrogue, he must solo Chuck as a Hitmon, good luck.

@Random, i'm sure you must be sick of "Flapper the cheri berry zubat" by now so here is your challange for your saphire payback.
SimonSays' friend, take a Zubat, name it Flapper. It hates Cheri Berries so much that it may never hold them, however, it also hates paralysis, so it may never get paralysed, or it must solo a Gym Leader/E4 Pokemon for every time it gets paralysed, & it must also switch out of the battle it gets paralysed & not be used for the remainder of the battle. It may not evolve past Golbat until it solos Wattson's Voltorb (Easy...).

Have fun.

@wtangelo, you get a hoothoot, this hoothoot has insomnia, despite abilities not existing in the 2nd gen, so it can't use any moves related to sleep (eg. hypnosis, rest).

Good luck to both of you.

@ Treadshot: Ehh, whatever...I should stop arguing. I remember how much my MEP owned all that time ago...

@ Dark Ray: Accepted, 2 to go (Hooray, I get Flapper again...). Least you saw my message...Also, I'm not sick of Flapper, I just wanted something different, besides, Flapper is a powerhouse in my current Scramble anyway. A surfer would be nice.

@ Wtangelo: While we're on the subject, you get Flapper the Zubat. It may never hold a PrzCureBerry, & every time it's paralysed, it must solo a Gym Leader/E4 Pokemon to compensate. That's all.

Have fun.

EDIT: Nevermind, you have 6 Pokemon, so disregard this challenge.

@Ranger Blue, take an Audino named Healer. It can only know one attacking move at all times.

@Its_A_Random, found a good one on page 161 :)

Its_A_Random said:
Bluewooper, take a Shuppet & name it Puppet.

Your Shuppet has a grudge on its former owner who released it because it was too weak. Therefore, it must know & keep Curse. To evolve, it must solo 5 Gym Leader Pokemon through Curse damage, without dying or switching out. If it evolves, it must use Curse every time it enters the battle.

Have fun.

@Ranger Blue: take a Dwebble, & name it RockLobsta. RockLobsta likes to Rock, so he must know & keep Stealth Rock, because he likes looking at Rocks, Rock Polish, because he likes to be a fast Rock, & another Rock Type move for the sake of attacking with Rocks. It must have Sturdy, & to evolve, it must survive attacks through Sturdy against 25 trained Pokemon & KO it. Have it solo Skyla.

Have fun.

@auramaster: I'll put that down as a maybe, simply because I have to use the same challenge for my current Payback Scramble. It would be nice if you gave me a different one, otherwise...Semi-accepted.

EDIT: Here's the challenges I'm doing in my current Payback Scramble if anyone cares...

Try to refrain from giving those. I may accept Cursing Shuppet, but yeah. A different one from auramaster would be nice. One to go (Excluding auramaster's challenge, which I'll give a placeholder to).

Ranger Blue: You get FishyFishy the Stunfisk. It believes it's a fish so much it must know 2 water attacks (rain dance counts as a water move) at all times. It must be in battle at all times when the weather is 'rain'.

Ok, so far I have:

Healer the Audino,
Rocklobsta the Dwebble,
FishyFishy and Stunfisk.

Would like a starter as one of the last three if possible.

Thanks :)

Updated my Current Sapphire Payback Scramble for everyone to see. I now have all 6 Pokemon, & I've now got the Feather Badge. Read it if you wish, you'll also see the previous updates as well. Enjoy!

Just a couple of clarifications while I'm at it, about Ranger Blue's Dwebble (Even though you didn't ask, I'll do it anyway), what I mean by the evolution requirement is that it has to survive an attack from a trained Pokemon thanks to Sturdy, then it must KO it. Do this 25 times. And concerning a few posts above, what I mean is that I'm giving auramaster a chance to find another challenge, if he wants to stay with Cursing Shuppet, it's up to him, he just needs to notify me. His challenge will take precedence. And that's about it. :)

@Ranger Blue
You will get a Snivy named Tommy.
Tommy has really bad hearing so he thinks that Bianca's name is Kimberly. Tommy has always been really nervous around Kimberly and as such Tommy may never KO any of Kimberly's Pokemon, directly or indirectly. He also has this dark brooding deep within him so he may not evolve until he obtains the Dragon Sword (learns leaf blade) and 3 non-attacking moves to show that he is greater than any single opponent.
Since his hearing is so bad he misheard Cheren's name as Jason. Jason fills him with rage and he must lead off against Jason and KO at least half of his team every time you face him.
The bad hearing and terrible emotions are due to the bewitched Dragon coin he has (hold item must be an Amulet Coin ASAP) and he must get rid of it as part of his quest for inner peace and strength. Therefore, he must defeat Iris/Drayden and that will break the Dragon Coin and he can find his real strength.

to sum up:
-name him Tommy
-May not KO any of Bianca's Pokemon
-Must always KO at least half of Cheren's Pokemon
-May not evolve to Servine until Leaf Blade at level 28 + no other attacking moves
-Must hold an Amulet coin as soon as you get it in Castelia
-May not evolve into Serperior unless he KOs 8th gym leaders final pokemon
-As a Serperior all other restrictions (moveset/hold item/etc.) are lifted
-You get +20 internets if you immediately get this reference.

Ok, so far I have:

Healer the Audino,
Rocklobsta the Dwebble,
FishyFishy and Stunfisk.

Would like a starter as one of the last three if possible.

Thanks :)

Caterpie the Sewaddle. Now then, this Sewaddle is strange. It thinks that it is a Caterpie, and hence must always keep Tackle, String Shot and Bug Bite. It must never have any grass-type attacks, and cannot learn any other physical moves. What the last move is, that's your choice, but make it as close to a Butterfree as possible. :)

Ranger Blue, your last poke is a Darumaka. Being the crappy insane loser pokemon it is, it must be caught before you reach Nimbasa City. As soon as you get it, DON'T go to Nimbasa, instead backtrack to Striaton and drop it off in the day care. Then, continue on your adventure.

Your Darumaka gets tired of being stuck in the daycare when you get to Victory Road's entrance, thus, you can take it out and use it from then on, no restrictions.

Call it "WalkLots".
