Registration for the LCQ. You play the LCQ after you register...

Masters Division:
Line opens: 1:00 P.M.
Line closes: 1:30 P.M.

30 Minutes to registir? Shoot not much time to get your team down is there? Then I am guessing it is supposed to wrap up by 4pm and if you won you register for the Nationals? Do you have to still use the same team? Sorry for lying about last post but this should be it.

You're suppposed to have your team written down beforehand, but a lot of people do it while waiting in line. Also, "line closes" may just mean that there are no more people accepted after that time, not necessarily that registration will be done by that time.

For writing the team down I am guessing you mean like.

Pokemon Name
Moves of pokemon next to it or in some clear way to recognize it nearby.
Then a list of Items you will be using?

Also I will asume you can type it. I will do that due to having bad handwriting. But if I am not confident in my team I will do it in line.

Sweet, Atlanta again! Going for the third year straight, after making top 16 in Nashville and having an unfortunate loss last year in the third round preliminaries. This year I'm going all the way! Also, born in '93 so representin' the Masters Division.

The Florida State Pokemon League will be in attendance as usual, definitely with more people, possibly with new T-shirts. We'll see how that one works out...

I-20 represent!
Masters div. first time attending so it should be fun strictly for the competing and meeting people i may already know from my stint of competitive wifi on other sites that are rather dull blades nowadays.

You have to fill out a Team Information Sheet that you can download from PokemonVGC.com

I'll be at least going early for Malison to compete in her age group. I am going to play it by ear with my participation, since I need to be at a Ballet Recital for my little one at 5:30.

Yeah, I just noticed that. I wonder why.

Battle Box.

Same reason why there is no item swapping. It will also automatically take care of match (15 min) and move (1 min) timers, as well as tie-breaker decisions.

Should make everything move a lot smoother this year.

Yeah, but how does Battle Box prevent you from writing down your team?

It does not, but you won't need to. There are no paper registration sheets for teams this year. It's all handled using the battle box and competition option from the game's main menu.
Wait, so does the battle box like screen the Pokemon for you?? Anyways, will make things faster.

Master's. My first VGC
:D
Me and some of my compatriots from school will be there. Maybe even in a uniform of some kind.
Haha! Let me know what you're wearing, I might see ya! I'll be wearing a 2010 Nats shirt! Good luck! Just to let you know, the metagame is suckish, but it's really fun to play anti-meta teams!

Yup!
Sadly, I'll probably be the only one from the "team" to do anything in the regionals >> I'm the only one that knows how to EV train, anything about IV's, nature choices, etc etc.

Haha wow, I have a similar situation on my hands.

I'll be attending this event (masters) alongside some school friends, only one of whom has a clue about competitive battling and the current VGC metagame. I'll be wearing my Super Mario Bros shirt like I did last year.

Oh and that t shirt design is pretty cool. :D

Heh, yeah, unless you run into one of us, lol. We have roughly 14 going this year so your odd's are 14/1024, round 2 14/512, round 3 14/256, etc... Last year, all of us made it to at least round 5.
