Anime Soundtracks

Tsubasa Chronicles has a very awesome soundtrack (Kajiura Yuki is pretty awesome). My favorites include ruthless and Break the Swords of Justice. I strongly recommend giving these soundtracks a listen.

Bleach has some pretty cool songs, like On the Principle of Defeat and Fade to Black B13a. The Spanish-style tracks in the 3rd soundtrack are pretty cool too heh (La distancia para un duelo is nice).

I also have Ditty for Daddy set as my alarm for some days! It works pretty well.

And I agree with all the Cowboy Bebop mentions.

Alright well I've been ignoring this thread for a while because I never really liked anime, but I've recently been watching some. My friends have a little anime club so I dropped by their meetings to see the beginning episodes of Baka to Test and High School of the Dead. However the anime I REALLY REALLY LIKE is K-on! Maybe it's just the music theme but I really do love the anime and its fun to watch, I like it so much I'm worried I'm going to fall into depression after the last episode or something. Of course, my friends tell me its pretty popular so I'm not sure if I'm talking to you about K-on! like its Naruto or Bleach or something. Regardless "Don't Say Lazy" is waaaaay too freakin' catchy.

Don't Say Lazy

I have a confession to make. I like Dubbed Dragon Ball Z > Japanese Dragon Ball Z. Yes the writing/content is different-- but frankly, I've read the Dragon Ball manga in Japanese, and I still like the writing for the dub better too! :P

I'm sorry, but I can't stand one of the greatest figures of anime masculinity sounding like a pre-pubescent girl. Also, the BGM is just better.

I f'ing love this song!! yes yes yes!!!

Recently, my local 7-11 has been selling Hikaru no Go mass repackaged (you get like 300 pages of manga for only $6 each). Since I never had the chance to read the original Japanese, I've been buying/reading them, which has made me go back and watch the anime some, which has made me post this:

Get Over
(TV Version, New Years Special)
(Live Concert Version)

Music is my Thing

Well, much like Death Note, the anime can't really get Obata-san's art style right, so I'd say read the manga first... :P

YES. Bruce Faulconer's music for the series was great. Imperfect Cell, Frieza, and Zarbon had actually menacing voices too.

Cell Kills man(hey this sounds a lot like the music from the Portal 2 core transfer cutscene)
