Why was "Earthquake Spiral" an accepted name for Moxie back then, when it was also called Overconfidence? "Earthquake Spiral" is way too long for the name of an ability, and sounds more like an attack than an ability.

Rotom-W does not in any way resist boltbeam. Electric is neutral. Shedinja, rotom-h, lanturn, magnemite-magnezone, rotom-f, resist, but rotom-w does not.

silly me but rotom-C resists if im not mistaken

I think you mean Rotom-F/H. (blarajan has the list of all resistors a couple posts above)

Anyways, since its a new page I'll repost my question.

So I'm thinking about adding a Mamoswine to my Sun team. The problem is, I'm unsure about the set. Is it worth throwing a CScarf on Mamo to be a revenger or should I go for power with Choice Band? I don't really like Life Orb because of all the weaknesses Mamo has, so could an Expert Belt set work? Any advice would be appreciated. If you need more detail on my team, just let me know.

Earthquake Spiral was one of the interpretations of the literal translation of the Japanese name, which doesn't translate directly into English

You'll need to give team details to get a good answer, but look at what you want Mamo to deal with, and then decide on the item that allows it to do so.

gliscor with chesto berry

max hp, max spdef
ability: hyper cutter
nature: jolly
moves: acrobatics, earth quake, rest and persute

Id like to know how well it may do and what I could change to make it better. thanks in advance.

if you HAVE to use it with hyper cutter, i recommend a baton pass set. even then, gliscor shines as a physical wall with poison heal.

Both of Gliscor's other abilities are better, you're running a +spe nature without any speed EV's, if you aren't using poison heal, Gliscor gets roost, so you don't need rest, acrobatics would work better with a flying gem, or on a toxi-fling poison heal set, and Gliscor's uninvested pursuit is unbelievably pathetic. I'd suggest reading Gliscor's analysis here.

I've been out of the game for a while, but I'm picking up my White again. I want my team to be: Emboar, Final Lillipup/Eelektros, Reuniclus, Simipour, Scrafty, Cofagrigus. Will this make the game too easy?

Emboar is in my opinion the worst of the starter pokemons , has only hp and attack , will be ko'd after 1 water type hit i think.
Lillipup evolution is ... ok i guess , i used him to beat the game but judging by its stat it is bested by almost any pokemons.
Eelektross is the electric flying fish if i'm not wrong . He has his upsides but again going by stats i would use it as it isnt fast NOR bulky.
Reuniclus is a very nice pokemon in the metagame , for beating the game i didnt use him really .
Simipour is fast and offensive , in metagame it would suck , to beat the game i loved him .
Scrafty is another rather slow pokemon but very bulky , a bulk up set would be nice untill u can get a DD set , then again all this bulking up will make the game a bit slower to beat.
Cofagrius is a nice wall , but i wouldnt use it to beat the game.

What i had to beat the game was a set of sweepers of almost all kind.
I started with the grass pokemon , he is fast ,has defence and enough hp to go around , after 1 coil his leaf blade KO'd almost anything.
Another pokemon i used to beat the game was simipour, Haxorus (love that shyt) , Zekrom obviously :D , and Stoutland and bird for the last spots.
Going by coverage and so on my team sucked but for beating the game all u need is raw power and HM pokemons ^^

You won't have much trouble going through the game, but honestly you'd probably have an easier time if you just stuck to Emboar, Stoutland, Simipour, and Scrafty and left the other two slots empty/HM slaves. Eelektross, Reuniclus, and Cofagrigus are all more hassle than they are worth by a huge amount.

I'd probably also skip Simipour unless you were going with Snivy as your starter as well, since picking up any of the Monkeys other than the one that's just given to you isn't worth the effort. If you really want Tepig as your starter, pick up either a Tympole or Ducklett as your Water Pokemon if you want one.

On the EQ Spiral thingy, it was a mistranslation by Serebii, but nobody actually bothered to check. Everyone just used the name Earthquake Spiral, probably because it sounded cool, I guess. :/

I was told that a Propobass (or whatever that Nose's name is) is an excellent counter against any steel types.
Is can trap , take hits and kill steel types easely i was told.
Does any1 have a nice propobass setup he can share with me?

Well I'm running Specially defensive Ninetails, Sawsbuck, Slowbro with emphasis on physical bulk, specially defensive Heatran, CM Latias, and Mamo. I realized I probably worded my question wrong. What I'm asking is, is the CScarf set a good revenger or does he really need that extra power provided by CBand/Life Orb. And since I dislike CBand and Life Orb's drawbacks, would running an Expert Belt work?

I used a jolly nature + choice band on mine , that seemed to work but you cant outspeed other sweepers wich will usually cost you .
So a scarf would be needed in a way , his attack s decent , so you wont need the attack boost from choice band and life orb .
Expert belt might work but then again you'll be to slow.
