Just by looking at the spread, I'd say you're hitting frame 86 not 87 which is your target. Frame 86 has a Timid Kingler as its ES.
 
This is my first time trying to hit delays without an AR. When the first timer ends, do I press A on the HG tab in the NDS start up menu?
 
When the first timer ends you do a soft reset.

Edit: either one I guess... never done it from the NDS menu myself...
 
So you're always getting 3 seconds off? If you're using EonTimer reduce the target second by 3. I think you need to reduce the calibrated delay by 180 as well. Either that or increase it by 180... I forget which.
 
I put my target second to 15. I should reduce it to 12? This past try I hit 6063 delay, which is 2 off from my target.

EDIT: I hit my delay, but got the wrong ID/SID.

Neither was I, from the PID you gave, I was able to deduce that you're using the Flawless Timid Ability 0 seed, which for Land Encounter Slot 7 says no synch 87 as the frame.

Like I said, you are most likely hitting frame 86 which yields a Timid Kingler(Encounter slot 3).

The IVs for Frame 86 don't match up with what I am getting though. I'm getting a 31/31/31/31/31/31 Timid Kingler instead of a Misdreavus.
 
Interesting, so you said your lead doesn't have synchronize, and you're using an AR or calculator to confirm that its flawless.

I'd have to boot up my game and do a test, if you don't mind waiting then, I'll let you know if I find anything odd.
 
Hey there I'm new to RNG abuse and so the chances of me doing something wrong are still up there. ATM I'm trying to breed an Anorith with an Adamant nature in SS before I work on getting it the IVs I want.

I've been using a DC0301EF seed with 1 frame and a 484 delay but I'm having no luck verifying my seed. I've been calling Irwin to do it since I haven't encountered PokeRus yet and I've clearing past the Elite Four already.

Basically I'm not getting matching responses to the seed I'm supposed to get. I haven't checked to see if it would've worked anyway though, but I'm assuming if Irwin's responses don't match, it wouldn't be right anyway.

Since you're new to RNG'ing it might be best to get all of the Elm responses before trying any further.

So using the same seed, and same area, I got Misdreavus, Timid Flawless on the first try.

I'd like to know A) is there a synchronizer anywhere in your party, B) Do you have roamers C)Are you riding your bike(no pokemon following you)
D) How sure are you on your SS advancement, is it 1 or 2 E) How are you checking the Kinglers IV's.

I had a party of Darkrai, Oddish(my SS) and Noctowl, and had no issues.

484 is awful low, but still doable. Post what Irwin calls you do get, the next time you go for it, with the seed you gave it will be able to help me see if your seconds/delay are off.

A) I've tried it both with and without a synch in my party
B) Entei and Raikou (taken this into consideration when advancing frames)
C) On Bike
D) Definitely 2 SS on bike
E) AR

EDIT: Might I ask which seed you used? I'll try with that seed, since it worked for you. I used: D2140289 (638 Delay), 141117E6 (6107 Delay). Thanks for taking time out to test it btw.
 
I looked through the first page, and I see that if you let the date roll over on the DS in HGSS it advances the RNG by two. However my question is what happens if you let the date roll over in Platinum? Does it advance the RNG by two as well, by another number, or even not at all?
 
The reason the RNG rolls over in HGSS is for some radio contests (Buena's thing and the lottery I believe). There is a lottery in DPPt IIRC so it would advance by at least 1 frame.

Edit: 8 frames? wtf?
