Looking for a quick 1v1.

Arena: The Earth Cauldron
Field Type: Ground
Complexity: Moderate
Format: Singles

Restrictions: No weather except Sandstorm, Artificial Field, Limited Ceiling, No Water Source, Rocks must be obtained through digging

Description: At the entrance, there is a staircase you must climb. The case spirals around a circular column, about 20 metres high & 30 metres in diameter. At the top, there is a circular arena. The entrance is shut & is replaced by guardrails 10 metres high, which encircle the arena. you see a rectangular field, 20x15 metres in dimension, the rectangle consisting of some sand & some painted lines. Outside the rectangle is hard rock-like material that cannot be dug into, but the sand is, but only to a certain depth. There also may be loose rocks in the sand as well, only accessible by digging. When a seismic-based move is used, sand will come flinging up from the rectangle, & all Pokemon that is not immune to Sandstorm that is within the confinements of the Cauldron will suffer an accuracy drop of 1 stage. The arena is also rather sturdy, allowing seismic activity to occur. Flying Pokemon also have the ability to fly out of the cauldron, over the guardrails & out of range from most attacks. Lastly, the arena is indoors, so the only weather that can occur is Sandstorm. This arena got its name, due to the fact that it clearly suits Ground-Types & for it's Cauldron-like appearance.

Summary: Circular arena, 30 metres in diameter, surrounded by 10 metre high guardrails. The centre of the arena consists of a rectangle, 20 metres long, 15 metres wide, the rectangle consisting of diggable sand & painted lines, the outside of the rectangle consists of hard, undiggable rock. Sturdy enough for seismic activity to occur. Loose rocks present in the diggable sand, Sand flings up dropping the accuracy of Pokemon susceptible to Sandstorm by 1 stage when a seismic move is used, Flyers can fly out of the cauldron, & the only weather that can occur is Sandstorm.

Anyone?

Okay, so I'll set up a new Challenge.

2v2 Doubles
1 Day DQ (Includes referee :/)

LC Mons ONLY
Arena:
Description: Deep within the confines of Mount Coronet, there lies a place unlike any other. This circular area is a flat cavebed that is 100 meters in diameter. In the center lies a huge column of rock 20 meters in diameter extending from the floor to the ceiling about 60 meters up (basically, the place is huge). Running up the column is a ledge about 5 meters thick that curls around it (Sort of like the thread in a screw). Seismic disturbances constantly coat the area in a thick sandstorm that can't be canceled due to the ceiling. Sadly, there's no water source for moves like Surf and weather moves cannot be used but everything else goes.

Summary: Eternal Sandstorm, Indoor Arena, No External Water Source.

Feeling unloved. Please ref?
It's fine Simon, I'll find another match to fill the spot. Like the one above! :D

As for the arena, it's going to be a cave:
Arena: A cave
5229373-beautiful-magical-underground-cave.jpg
The battle takes place deep within a subterranean cave, not unlike Mt. Moon and Union Cave of Pokemon lore. Being an enclosed environment, all weather moves will have no effect. Attacks that require solar/lunar power such as Solarbeam, Moonlight, etc. will still work, however their effects will be harshly reduced (akin to using them in the Rain or Sandstorm). Despite this, there is sufficient, if a bit dim, lighting due to the various iridescent vegetation and gemstones throughout the cave. The cave is also very spacious allowing for free movement, although the various stone structures give plentiful cover should the need arise. Furthermore, it is very sturdy and can withstand strong seismic forces. However, the cave is not indestructible and repeated attempts can cause various levels of structural damage. Should the cave completely collapse, the battle will end and whoever side has more Pokemon left than the other (or which Pokemon have a greater health % at the end of the match) will be declared victor.

As a result of being an subterranean environment, Ground Pokemon are most comfortable here and gain a bonus. What kind of bonus this is up to interpretation to the referee. I also forgot to add the cave also has a small pool nearby for Water Pokemon and Water attacks that need it.

Arena: D&D Game Map

A very vanilla territory in Dungeons and Dragons, containing trees, an open field, and a copious amount of water available. At the end of every round, Flamestrike (because he's a jerk) will come in and attack each Pokemon for 2d6+6 points of damage with his gigantic Greatsword. He has a +6 Attack Bonus and, for some reason, will always deal double damage if he rolls a natural 20. Each Pokemon's Armor Class is equal to 10+(Def Rank + Speed Rank (Capped at 8 - Def Rank)).

Example: Flamestrike attacks a Hasty Gengar in an attempt to hit it. Gengar's AC is 16 (10 + 1 (Def) + 5 (Spe)), and he rolls a 12. It hits - barely. You roll 2d6 and get 2 and 5: this results in a total of 14 DMG to Gengar.

(Note to refs: Don't worry if you can't do D&D calcs; there's going to be someone on IRC who can.)

Insert the image here, cant do it on an iPad

(Pretend that the center is bigger.)

6 platforms above goo. The goo will transform into anything the pokemon need, so there is no worry about restricted moves. Each pokemon is on a different platform, and the platform they are on will switch each time. When on a platform the pokemon can only hit pokemon on the platform next to it, or opposite of it. For example, a pokemon on platform #1 would only be able to hit pokemon on platforms 2, 4, and 6. What these means is a pokemon on a even numbered platform cannot hit a pokemon on another even number platform. Also note that certain moves would obviously fail, such as Earthquake or Dig.

I want to highly encourage stuff like alliances and teaming up on people. It creates many interesting situations, and adds mind games to an already interesting melee. Using the platform position to determine targets and allies can be wise, but be careful about being back stabbed. However, in the end only one pokemon can win. Due to the nature of this battle, all actions will be PMed to the ref.

Also, since this is a large battle, I would want the participants and the ref to be active, so that the battle can go faster, and people can communicate to decided alliances.

My battle slots are full, so I'll ref Lady Salamence's Brawl.

I'd also like to ref an interesting battle!

6vs6 Pyramid Battle
2-day DQ
Infinite Recoveries / Infinite Chills
ASB Tournament Arena
Abilities=ALL
Items=OFF
Switch=N/A

The Pyramid battle is 3 mini-battles (or bouts) in one big 6-on-6 showdown. First, there is a singles match; when one trainer's Poke is knocked out, both the Pokemon go back in their Pokeballs and score is recorded (1 KO=1 point). Next, there is a doubles match; when one trainer's team is knocked out, all the Pokemon go back in their Pokeballs and scores are recorded. Finally, there is a triples match; same story. Pokemon will be sent into battle in the order they are received by the ref, so the 1st Poke in the order will fight in the singles match, the 2nd and 3rd Pokes in the order will fight in the doubles match, and the rest will fight in the triples match. The winner is the one who racks up the most KOs along the way. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by number of bouts won.

Every bout has a theme/challenge for the Pokemon to fulfill, and the trainers must send Pokemon to the ref that match the theme of the bout they will be fighting in. For instance, the themes for this Pyramid Battle will be:

BOUT 1 (singles): Must use Basic-stage, non-evolving Pokemon (Heracross, Farfetch'd)
BOUT 2 (doubles): Team's Base Rank Total must be less than or equal to 35.
BOUT 3 (triples): Must use mono-typed team

No Love...Well, I might ask again. Is there anyone brave stupid enough to help me out with this "Tenative" Gym arena?
