I really wish Grimlock would've appeared in one of the Michael Bay films, if only to see how they incorporated him into the storyline and how they would've interpreted his design

Agreeing with those who said that Beast Wars is indeed, the shit (and is where my username came from). I actually just started rewatching the series about a month ago. Just started season 3 yesterday.

For those who have seen it, what's your favorite season/story arc in Beast Wars? Personally, I think it really gets good around the last three or four episodes of season 1, but season 2 is my favorite, due to great episodes like Code of Hero, The Agenda (all three parts), and others. Season 3's not bad either, but you can tell the ending was pretty rushed.

I have watched this movie literally dozens of time and have been watching it as long as I can remember. It even has a good fight between Optimus and Megatron.
Also it's not really that good terrible animation, extremely cheesy, but its easily better than the Bay films.

I mean it has Leonard Nimoy and it was Orson Welles' last movie. Gotta be pretty okay, right?

GRIMLOCK ROOOOOAAAR! I mean, how could you NOT like the dinobots? These guys were my fav characters and to be honest, I was hoping dark of the moon had the dinobots in it. But I've seen the preview to the movie so I guess not....
 
What's your guys definition on terrible animation exactly, because uh

While The Transformers Movie and Beast Wars weren't Gurren Lagann, the animation was far from shit, and actually fairly decent.

Also, The Michael Bay movies were awful. Just bloody awful. Sure, 3-D Transformers, explosions and a hot girl, but the Transformers themselves were far too different from the original designs. Why the fuck does Optimus Prime have LIPS?!!? Where is his mouth plate thing? Why is Bumblebee never a VW? Who the fuck are these made up Decepticons? Where are Thundercracker and Skywarp? Where are the Dinobots?

I think that I would have liked it better if Sam Witwickys actor were someone cute instead of Shia LaBeouf... Megan Fox annoys me as well.

I agree. Aside from some of the beast forms in the first season, I think the character models from Beast Wars have actually aged quite well for being ~15 years old. The Transmetals in particular, still look pretty good.
 
The dinobots were awesome. They were mean building smashing creatures of mass destruction. Yet all you need to say is "bad boy! Go to your room and think about what you've done to place!" and immediately they act like apologetic kids saying "sorry....." That's what made them cool. They were sick and tough, but funny as well.
 
Lol, that's pretty much it. I think I even remember of seeing a scene in some transformers show where grimlock plays fetch with bulkhead.... Except the stick is a giant tree. Lol.
 
Im an unbiased Transformers fan.Am i sayig that stuff like the unicron trilogy and Bayformers are great? Well they are in their own way.
 
Oldschool fans are going to hate the new stuff; of course. It's always like that. I feel like carrying on the legacy and impact of this toy line from Hasbro is the most important thing, and these movies are one way of doing it. Complain if you want, but it'll always be a great series.
 
I love transformers but I mean

The Micheal Bay films have literally nothing good about them (imho)

And I feel like Armada was the last good Transformers series.

B/c living sentiant robots fighting each other has what in comon with Lion Megazord vs a blue king, a witch and a spoilid prince. Voltron is a copy of supersenti. Transformers is F*en Awsome.
