When you say 9.9, I hope you actually mean 9.92. Because the original 9.9 didn't search correctly for DS Lites.
 
Yes I do sorry I forgot the number that's why I put the note saying I upgraded today.

If it helps I'm using White which I've just been told other people i know can't RNG on either.
 
For the record, there are PIDRNG initial frames and Wondercard Seed/Frames lower than frame 55. I've encountered some even as low as 39; however they are very rare.

Would she perhaps need to widen her timer0 parameters as was needed to be done on the DSi rng?

I just spoke to her and she's using White. My other friend is using White as well and she can't find her parameters either...

Widening timer0 only helped because we didn't know the correct range for DSis. They're doing it with DS Lites, and we've known the ideal timer0 range for a long time.

Thanks for everything, Donut! What about the issue with white, though? Luckily I haven't tried to calibrate with white... but still, it's concerning. Thanks again.
 
Hey guys, I've got a weird result here...
Im trying to RNG a Goldeen on Lostlorn Forest so I made the calc and I got this seed 6CE170AEBEA62627 for a sync adamant with all ivs 31 except spatk, then I take that seed to the PIDRNG using the Wild Pokemon Fishing encounter type. I used the Calculate initial PID frame button and I got frame 49, but I want this goldeen to be male so I checked there is a male sync adamant on frame 52 AND encounter slot 2. I check in the Encounter slot list for pkmn white(which is my version) and I see its supposed to be a goldeen, but when I do the RNG process, I get the right IVs, right gender but it turns out to be a Basculin. It's not a BIIG deal but I want to understand what Im doing wrong...
BTW, im using reporter 9.92 and I make the 3 PID frame advancements with chatot.

I can't test it myself because I don't have a copy of White. I've retested it the best I can and nothing's changed. What exactly are these people doing?

Goldeen is a Bubble Spot Pokemon - it will only appear if you fish in a spot where there is a bubble. Also, you have to pick Bubble Spot as your encounter type.

I'm having the same problem as Saerith. The first time I RNGed on my White I had timer0 C7F and I was using 9.81. I am still able to RNG on my Black, but when I find my parameters for my white on 9.9/9.92 my timer0 seems to go between C7E and C7F. I've tried multiple seeds for both timer0s, but it doesn't seem to work. I'm about to try again, but with seeds from 9.81, I'll give an update when I do. :/
 
Are you guaranteed to get the same timer0 each time you reset? Or can you get different timer0s, thus ruining your seed? I know it can't be controlled, but I'd like to know if you can only get one per game.

I have two timer0s... so no, you are not guaranteed. The one I hit most often is C7C, but I can also get C7D...

I've gotten as many as 4 timer0s on one of my games & DSs. More likely you'll have two timer0s.

Can't both be the same problem. Saerith said she couldn't find parameters at all; you're saying you CAN find parameters on 9.92 but are having problems hitting your seed.

That was with 9.9 now I cant even get my parameters on 9.92 :(

I upgraded to 9.9 and it gave me timer0s but like july they were never right. (the exact problem july has) but now on 9.92 it wont even give me parameters
 
Saerith, I tried plugging all your info into 9.81 to see if something broke between versions. Still got no results, so I'm inclined to believe it's a procedural problem at your end.

Where are you Sweet Scenting your Pokemon?
 
I'm afraid can't help you any more at this point. 9.81 didn't retroactively break. Check your MAC address or something.
 
Okay so, I did my calibrating on version 9.81 and got C7F for my timer0. I just tried to RNG Zekrom and was successful.

I'm not sure why seeds for timer0 C7F that I got from 9.9/9.92 didn't work. =/

I'm going to need more data. A screenshot comparing your Time Finder output between 9.81 and 9.92 would be helpful.

EDIT: I just ran searches with White on both 9.81 and 9.92. I'm getting the exact same output. You probably just kept hitting the wrong Timer0 over and over.
