Data Ask a Simple Question, Get a Simple Answer (ASB Version)

Ok, I just want to know, if you have a poke that knows teleport (like abra, or kirlia) can it teleport your opponent as well as yourself? Even if contact must be made *please say yes <:D*

I feel really dumb, and I know I have done this before but, how do you figure speed for a paralyzed pokemon? I remember seeing it somewhere...

This is a n00b question coming from a fairly new ASB player.

How often do Ref Tutor Apprentices get chosen?

Is it like once a month?

Since Flora left ASB the ref tutor program has been in disarray. I think Engineer Pikachu is trying to get it back up and running though, so it could be a good idea to ask him about it.

#capasb is the tool to end all tools for learning this game; though it's no substitute for a tutor ref, it's still a huge help. Even our best are constantly learning new things there.

Yes. The only restriction is that certain Role Plays stop Pokemon from being in battles. Check with the individual Role Plays.

Get the image URL. The click on the the button at the top of your textbox that looks like a mountain with a yellow background. The copy the URL into that box and the picture will appear in the textbox.

If your image currently isn't on the internet, tinypic is a good website for uploading pictures from yuor computer to the web (no signups + free). Just google tinypic and click on the first result and from memory that should be it. Follow the instructions on the webpage from there.

How would Smack Down affect a pokemon behind a sub? Would it just not smack anything down, or would it smack the sub down but leave the pokemon, or smack both down?

Smack Down: The Pokemon hurls an energized rock or other natural materials at its opponent. The energized field disrupts an opponent's flight or levitating capabilities and they come crashing to the ground for six (6) actions. They will be unable to fly or evade Ground-type attacks until the effect wears off. With some effort they can use electromagnetic or ballast capabilities to hover and move; however, they will be stuck low enough to the ground to be effected until Smack Down's effect wears off. Smack Down's effect does not apply to the opponent if it is behind a Substitute or if it is using Roost on the turn that Smack Down is used.

Attack Power: 5 | Accuracy: 100% | Energy Cost: 4 | Attack Type: Physical | Effect Chance: -- | Typing: Rock | Priority: 0 | CT: Set

Can you use one pokemon's KOC on another pokemon?

Ex. Can I use a KOC from my Darumaka to put into the MC of my Gible?

Yep.

In a multi battle I believe the common practice is to give the KO to the target of the move which caused the energy KO.

Incorrect. When a pokemon faints, a KOC is awarded to the last opposing pokemon that hit the fainted pokemon with a move that does direct damage. If no direct damaging moves were used against the fainted pokemon, I think the KOC goes to the last opposing pokemon that hit the fainted pokemon with a move that does indirect damage like poison.
