Sinking Submarine Mafia: Postgame

Still waiting to die today. It is terribly boring.

Domino is determined to be a good person to get hurt today, though there are actually some dissenters this time. How shocking! Domino dies beneath the beating. He was:
Dear Domino,
You are Adrian Monk.

One of the greatest detectives in America, you suffer from crippling OCD and germaphobia, in addition to other phobias. Despite this, the San Francisco Police Department routinely consults you on homicide cases.

At any time you may send General Spoon and theangryscientist a PM titled “CX - Investigate <alias>.” Using your detective skills, you will deduce <alias>’s Smogon name.

At any time you may send General Spoon and theangryscientist a PM titled “CX - Obsessively watch <alias>” You will watch <alias> and how he moves, and determine what his HP is at the end of this cycle.

Max HP: 18
Attack: 4

You win if you are alive when Dr. Claw, Darth Vader and Theodore Roosevelt are dead.
This was Layell.

Soap is no longer kidnapped.

Turning around, you notice that Jersey is lying face-down on the floor; dead. He was:
Dear Jersey,
You are Arthur Dent.

Waking up one morning to a very bad day, you found that your house was about to be demolished to make way for a bypass. Then your friend Ford, actually an alien, saved your life moments before the Earth was demolished to make way for a bypass.

At any time you may send General Spoon and theangryscientist a PM titled “CX - Read <alias>’s entry in The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.” Looking up <alias>’s entry, you will find the column marked “Current HP.” This will tell you what <alias>’s HP is at the end of this cycle.

Because you can understand all languages because of the strange fish in your ear, and this happens to impress some people, your vote in lynches is worth 1.5.

Because the universe has a way of keeping you alive, you will automatically recover 1 HP at the end of every cycle.

Max HP: 21
Attack: 5

You win if you are alive when Harman Smith, Dark Helmet and Manfred von Karma are dead.
This was Vintage Books.

With the death of this last fellow, winner ginganinja (alias Pioneer) leaves the submarine, heading for the surface. He was:
Dear Pioneer,
You are Harman Smith.

A wheelchair-bound old man, you are actually a skilled assassin. Rarely going on missions yourself, you prefer to have your 7 subordinate personalities take over for the job. Its rather complicated.

At any time you may send General Spoon and theangryscientist a PM titled “CX - Miss <alias>.” You will fire your sniper rifle at <alias>, intentionally missing him. From how high <alias> jumps, you will determine what his HP is at the end of this cycle.

The first time that you are inspected, other than to find out what your HP is, that inspection will fail. Every time you have lost a total of 6 HP, this protection against inspections will renew itself.

Max HP: 18
Attack: 6

You win if you are alive when Arthur Dent, Eragon and Blue Eyes Toon Dragon are dead.
It is now Cycle 9. Deadline is on Friday (2/23) at 8:00 PM CST, or earlier if all actions get in. Please get all actions in.

Darkpenguin67 (alias Caboose) looks up, and notices that the other three people left are all his enemies. Even worse, he will be unable to take one of them down with him before he dies. TalkingLion (alias Basket), RaRe555 (alias Sudan) and Dummy007 (alias NPR) quickly swarm and destroy Darkpenguin67. Darkpenguin67 was:
Dear Caboose,
You are Mike Rowe.

Host of the show “Dirty Jobs” on the Discovery Channel, you travel to all kinda of places and meet all kinds of people. People who are doing dirty jobs. There are very few kinda of muck that you have not encountered.

At any time you may send General Spoon and theangryscientist a PM titled “CX - Show with <alias>.” <alias> will appear with you on Dirty Jobs, doing a dirty job. All the grime will keep away anybody who was going to use an ability on <alias>. However, somebody intent on inflicting damage will look past the grime and deal their damage to <alias>.

Max HP: 21
Attack: 3

You win if you are alive when Buzz Lightyear, Groose and Dr. Claw are dead.
With this piece of business finished, TalkingLion, RaRe555 and Dummy007 prepare themselves to escape to the surface. TalkingLion was:
Dear Basket,
You are Dr. Claw.

The leader of the global crime syndicate known as M.A.D., nobody knows what you look like. Though you have an extensive surveillance network and agents located everywhere in society, Inspector Gadget manages to thwart all of your schemes.

At any time you may send General Spoon and theangryscientist a PM titled “CX - Focus on <alias>.” You will direct your camera network to focus on <alias>, and will determine his role name.

At any time you may send General Spoon and theangryscientist a PM titled “CX - Send a M.A.D. doctor to <alias>.” One of your agents will, disguised as a doctor, perform a check-up on <alias>, telling you what <alias>’s HP is at the end of this cycle.

Max HP: 18
Attack: 3

You win if you are alive when Adrian Monk, Sarah Palin and Mike Rowe are dead.
As they leave the submarine, RaRe555 glances back down at it. There are memories there that he will not forget, no matter how long he lives. RaRe555 was:
Dear Sudan,
You are Groose.

The most muscular, most handsome man in Skyloft, you and your pompadour are used to getting your way. You have loved Zelda, the daughter of the Headmaster of the Knight Academy, for some time now, but she does not return your affections.

At any time you may send General Spoon and theangryscientist a PM titled “CX - Get <alias> out of the way.” You and your cronies will board <alias> up in a cave, where he will stay for all of the following cycle. While <alias> is in the cave, he may not perform actions or have actions performed on him, and any vote that <alias> makes in the thread will not be counted.

If you have a person who is kidnapped, you may send General Spoon and theangryscientist a PM titled “CX - Rough-up guest.” You will smack whoever is kidnapped around a bit, dealing 4 HP damage to him.

Max HP: 18
Attack: 2

You win if you are alive when Manfred von Karma, Mike Rowe and Harry Potter are dead.
Once they reach the surface, Dummy007 is immediately killed by an upset camera crew. Dummy007 was:
Dear NPR,
You are Buzz Lightyear.

A toy Space Ranger, you were taught by your friends to see who you really are. A flashy show-off and braggart, you care deeply for your friends and your community, and will go to great lengths to protect them.

At any time you may send General Spoon and theangryscientist a PM titled “CX - Shield your eyes <alias>!” If anybody tries to use an ability on <alias>, you will scare them off by firing your laser at them. However, somebody intent on inflicting damage will not be phased by your blinking light, and will deal their damage to <alias>.

Max HP: 21
Attack: 3

You win if you are alive when Mike Rowe, Hercules and Eragon are dead.
TalkingLion, RaRe555 and Dummy007 have won.Postgame will go up sometime, like within a month at the most, probably. I doubt it will take that long.

I was so frigging close that really frustrates me, I'd like to think my performance in this game was better than the last ffa, I certainly lied a lot more and pulled more strings.

Anyways here is a log from right after c0

18:50 Layell: but let's think about this
18:50 Layell: if I were me
18:50 Layell: a person who loves theatre
18:50 Layell: who would I target first?
18:51 Walrein: ?_?
18:51 Layell: who would that be Walrein?
18:51 Walrein: how the hell should i know
18:51 Walrein: llama?
18:51 Walrein: idk
18:51 Layell: wowww
18:51 Walrein: ohhhhh wait
18:51 Layell: look at your sheet and guess
18:52 Walrein: ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
18:52 Walrein: ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
18:52 Layell: rofl
18:52 Walrein: i swear
18:52 Walrein: to god
18:52 Walrein: if you have told
18:52 Walrein: anyone
18:52 *** Walrein is now known as Wafkrein
18:52 Layell: I have
18:52 Layell: not
18:52 Layell: told anyone

-_-

Also sorry Layell, I was seriously conflicted over who I wanted to win between you and TL, but I won too quickly for that to really matter. For the record, I sold neither of you out to the other (Layell figured out on his own that Basket was his enemy and I think we inspected Domino or something like that).

Also, apologies to Dogfish, I had no clue that everyone and their mom was attacking me that night v_v

Congratulations to the rest of the Creeps for being awesome.

Wow, Walrein. You didn't even tell your OWN FACTION your alias until C4 to keep it hidden- and Layell had known it since C1? I CALL HAX

Anyway, good game, everyone. I find it somewhat amazing that I was outed completely on Cycle 1, with completely accurate information, and I still won the game. I guess people just weren't interested in getting rid of Buzz Lightyear. (General Spoon, why was I killed by an angry camera crew?)

Shoutouts for this game go to:
TalkingLion and Jalmont: These two were the first members of an alliance eventually known as the AQUANAUTS (or CREEPS, if you had channel access), and they invited me to be the third member after TL contacted me; we were slated to play each other for the Scramble Premier League at the time iirc (I won). We had a pretty good sheet going until Walrein came along with better organizational skills, leading us to transfer all our info into his sheet. It was fun working with you guys, although I'm very sad that Jalmont didn't make it to the end like the rest of us. ;_;

Walrein: The public speaker for our alliance and definitely the best information gatherer, Walrein took the brunt of the hits and did most of the dirty dealing. He was the one who convinced me most not to crack under HD's threats, and for that I thank him. He actually survived on 1 HP the cycle he won, and, while it was kind of saddening to lose our best strategist, we were glad he'd won. At least this time our faction wasn't torn apart after his death by hostile neutrals...

Next come all the remaining members of the CREEPS.
RaRe555: RaRe was the fourth addition to our channel (I think), although he didn't really do anything for a while. He was contacted vigorously after HD outed me to try and kidnap me for a cycle, but he got hooked instead- thankfully, no one even attacked me C1, not even HD. O.o Outside of that, RaRe and I set up our faction's final strategy during C8, and it definitely paid off.

kingofkongs: kok was also a decent strategist and info gatherer, but I blame him for Jalmont's death. Why? He advised that RaRe hit Engineer during his kidnap on C7, killing EP and allowing Spiffy to win, which meant that Jalmont didn't get bodyblocked that cycle. Silly dingofdongs; we lynch Fate for you so that you don't die, and this is how you repay us? For shame.

ginganinja: I didn't really talk to ginga much until C8, but our faction definitely benefited from having a second HP Inspector. Good job.

Ditto: We all complained about Ditto in the channel until C5 for not having IRC access, but he helped our team out a lot once he finally showed up. He provided a solid voice of reason, and I was glad to see him win.

Spiffy: I have a lot to say about Spiffy. We had been trying to contact Galladiator prior to his subbing to get him to ally with us, but we never saw him on. I decided to PM him about it, where he revealed to me that he would have very limited IRC access for the next week. After inadvertently relaying this info to General Spoon, he subbed in Spiffy, who happened to be online and in #submarine at the time. Spiffy asked a bunch of questions in #submarine, and, since Walrein figured we had lost at that point (due to HD being allied with an ultramayor and rigging the lynch) and therefore cared far more about Red Panda Mafia than this one, meaning he didn't care what info we gave out, I talked to Spiffy and told him everything. No one else would tell him anything about what was going on, so he allied with me and I gave him sheet access. His presence in our channel rejuvenated the disheartened CREEPS, especially since he happened to be a bodyguard. His addition to our team pretty much sealed the game for us; he was also very friendly. ^_^

Dogfish44: I never actually talked to df about this game, but I appreciated his contributions to our victory. When he inadvertently died due to Walrein not telling us his alias, leading RaRe to tell a bunch of people to attack Hamlet on a night when df was revmarring Walrein, I felt a profound sense of loss, even though he was the first of my enemies to go. I'M PROUD OF YOU, DOGFISH!

And that's about it. Props to HD for outing me, although no one seemed to care, and DP67 for rebelling against HD's tyranny. Yeah.

tl;dr CREEPS FTW

Good game everyone. Unfortunately this game just turned into two factions, and when one side had the vote majority, the other had no chance at winning. I'm glad Dummy, Walrein etc. let me in their alliance.

Sorry Layell, I was going to try and help you win, but RaRe hit Engineer making me win. xD

I'll save everything else for the postgame!

Well, good game everybody. I have to be honest now, I let a huge amount of people down in this game. I was originally a mole for HD and his alliance, giving information to them about jalmont and Dummy, who wanted to be in an alliance with me. I gave a lot of the information they gave me to HD, which I really regret doing. After HD died though, I decided to solely focus on the creep's alliance, which in turn led me and others to victory. I apologize to everyone I let down, but I had a lot of fun in this game, and that's all I'm saying until postgame!

Funny how that worked out. (lol gn the alliance king, winning both np np)

i should have picked layell to win you scum

Priority lose is tragic, yeah (so many losses due to kingmaker!wolf in #fluo)...

However, the real tragedy here is poor Jalmont being slandered even after loss by the host of this game.

Wow people are being way too harsh on me
A) how was I supposed to know how low of health EP was on?
B) I was the one who brought most of the people into the chan, including walrein and rare by myself. and it was MY sheet

Game was fun enough, bit surprised that the others didn't gang up and start to fight against us.
I'd like to thank Walrein and Spiffy above everyone else, since I know that if we were on the losing numbers, they would help me out.(at least they talked strategy with me outside the chan) I'd like to thank everyone else's attacks and rare's kidnap, which helped us dominate. Also to the people who in all right mind should have been against us but stayed with us for a long ass time (Dogfish <3, Layell, Vintage Books)

Also I will be pissed off if Walrein is the only one who is credited with leading the alliance.

I blame a lack of communication from my teammates as the source of all the inconsistencies with the truth in my tl;dr post. Everything in there is based on my interpretation of what happened during the game, and I'm not editing it. Also, ALL GLORY TO KOK'S SHEET
