Hey everyone and welcome to my third RMT. This time I decided to get into the sand. Yep a sand team. It has one me a decent amount of wins with the only losses were from me not being smart but it was fun and efficient on the win.

Hippowdown@leftovers
Nature:Impish
trait: Sand stream
Evs: 252 HP, 252 Def, 4 Spdef
Moves:
earthquake
stealth rock
roar
slack off
Tyranitars are not my thing. The weaknesses it brought were distasteful for me. Thus hippowdon was the only other option for permanent sand. It does a good job at it unless it is threatened out of the lead by a rotom-W. After it sets sands I got a couple of options. Set up rocks or immediate phasing till it gets the right thing to set up rocks on. slack off for the reliable recovery. Earthquake for reliable STAB.
Bastiodon@Leftovers
Nature:Impish
Trait: sturdy
Evs: 252 HP, 252 DEF, 4 spdef
Ivs: 0 Speed
Moves:
Metal burst
Stealth rock
Toxic
Roar
Back up rocks and my last ditch momentum killer. Bastiodons weaknesses in conjunction with metal burst is my best sweep ender if I have no other options left. Metal burst for obvious reasons to the use. This also provides great momentum acceleration after a U-turn from Archeops. Toxic is for status affliction.
Archeops@choice band
Nature Jolly
Trait: Defeatist
Evs: 252 Atk, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Moves:
U-turn
Earthquake
Stone edge
Quick attack
Revenge killer of the team. It is also one hell of a heavy hitter as well with that band. And defeatist isn't as crippling thanks to the band as well. Quick attack was just for some sort of priority attack since everyone else couldn't use one. Archeops also does the kill turn trick mentioned earlier with Bastiodon. Stone edge is it's only stab but can really hurt alot that tries to come in. Even dragonites don't like a stone edge from this monster.
Stoutland@choice band
Nature: adamant
Trait: Sand rush
Evs: 252 ATK, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Moves:
Wild charge
Fire fang
Return
Crunch
This things purpose in life is the dirt. So use it. Right? With this one is similar to that of archeops, but is more on wear down instead of sucker punch tactics. The move set is pretty self explanatory. As much coverage as possible with a reliable stab. Return offers that. The rest are all coverage attacks.
Reuniclus@Life orb
Nature: Modest
Trait: Magic guard
Evs: 252 HP, 252 DEF, 4 SPDef
Moves
Calm mind
Focus blast
Psychic
Recover
Reuniclus is a valuable special attacker thanks to a wonderful ability in magic guard. It was a nice fit. Though I am thinking of changing it out since I need electric attacks. Reuniclus is the setup sweeper. Calm mind is the move for obvious reasons. Psychic for main stab. Focus blast for a coverage attack. Recover for reliable recovery.
Claydol@Leftovers
Nature:Bold
Trait: levitate
Evs: 128 Hp, 252 def, 72 SpATK, 58 SpDEF
Moves:
Rapid spin
Calm mind
Ice beam
Psyshock
My spinning calm mind attacker. Claydol is the perfect counter to a terrakion. Resisting both STABS and a immunity to a common coverage move. Claydol can come in on any choice locked terrakion and do whatever it wants. Calmind makes this thing a respectable bulky attacker so put that to use and makes a death sentence if left uncontrolled. Ice beam for gliscor, Landorus, and dragon slayer. Psyshock to hurt special walls.
Now, I wait.
