The Legend of Korra (Spoilers ITT)

to be fair, we haven't seen anything yet that says Asami WASN'T taken hostage...but I see what you mean
Well let's be fair, what point would there be? I mean, she isn't a bender as far as we have been shown, so I dunno...

That being said, even you guys are all beginning to turn me into the conspiracy type now, though I still hold out it's just hopeful misdirection, since it is a pretty obvious charade otherwise in terms of what character to make the femme fatale.

Wearing a porcelain mask is probably a bad idea, seeing as how he fights in that thing, and it'll break if someone punches him in the face.

Nor was the announcer (theoretically).

I hope she's not an Equalist, but the lack of a scene of Mako rushing to make sure she's safe while Korra and Lin give chase is a bit suspicious.

wow. that was an amazing episode! did anyone else get Darth Vader vibes from Hiroshi?

*not quoting exactly*

(Hiroshi extends electric robotic glove to daughter--look familiar?) Hiroshi: Join me, Asami. We can end this destructive conflict, and create a better Republic City for the two of us!

Asami: I'll never join you! *electrocutes Hiroshi*

on another note, why are firebenders the only ones shown so far to have killed Mako and Bolin's parents, Hiroshi's wife, AND Amon's family? seriously, not all firebenders are evil.

Does anybody have a screenshot with what Lin was fighting the robots with? They looked like freaking huge swords, it just makes Lin that much more badass.

Also, I agree with Ouro, Tenzin's air bending looked sooooooooo coooooool.

All in all, I think I liked this episode the most so far. It advanced the story and didn't make me hate any characters I didn't want to hate.

Also, isn't Asami a little... suspect to any of you guys? The entire episode that we get introduced to her, I was thinking "this is way too easy, she's totally fem fatalle, GET OUT OF THERE MAN" and then nothing happened. Sato totally strikes me as suspicious.

1/2 I'll take it

Cabbagecorp guy was EASILY the best part of the episode ahahaha

EDIT: OH GOD Tenzin is a badass, I like how his air scooter, instead of being a little ball that's hard to control, is a more functional vertical ring thing that actually moves in straight lines (did anybody catch that?)

Looked like spikes/spades/blades she pulled from her armor. Would've been more bad ass if she actually destroyed the contraption.

Looks like Asami is actually legit, which is what I was hoping, since making her a femme fatale would be way too predictable. And apparently, Toph DID teach Lin how to sense vibrations. I think there was a post here regarding last week's episode wondering if she had.

EDIT: Also, I'm sensing that Tarrlok will be put in charge of the metalbending police in the next ep, and that'll involve some not-so-good changes in regime.

And once again, Benders are surprisingly helpless against the Equalists. At least they put up a better fight than they usually do (and against Big Daddies, too!), but seriously, Team Korra needs to get a win at SOME point. (I guess rescuing Bolin counts, but they couldn't fight them ultimately.) So far, Korra's only victory was when she was part of Tarrlok's task force, better known as legitimate justification for the whole "Benders are oppressing the Non-Benders" campaign Amon is on about (a.k.a. being dicks).

Agreed about Tenzin's Airbending, especially the air wheel he made. Good to see him get some action for once. :)

I feel bad for Asami, though. Nothing here could've been easy for her.

As a final note, Fourth Chakra unlocked? Yes or no? I'd say yes, even though it applied more for Asami and not Korra.

Would it be too predictable if it's all the same guy, a firebending serial killer?
