Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 (DS, June in JP, Fall in EU/NA/AU) - Updated May 12th

Why would BW2 make a difference? Black 2 will have Black's and White 2 will have White's. It's more likely that the entire city will be skipped in the Anime.
As to the second part, I believe N was supposed to appear in what would have been the 23rd and 24th episodes of Best Wishes that got canned indefinitely due to the Great East Japan Earthquake, but it's impossible to say for sure. Ghetsis hasn't appeared either.
...Eh, I derped. For some reason, I thought of BW2 as a single game. And that weird... doesn't Plasma have a leader in Best Wishes up until now?
Except wasn't Opelucid name dropped already in the anime? I can't remember a time they completely skipped a place they already name dropped.
Plasma hasn't appeared in Best Wishes at this point, so there's the answer to that, I guess. :p
It was namedropped, but BW083 and BW084 are Fierce Fighting at Tachiwaki Gym! VS Homika!! (Parts 1 and 2, respectively). As well, an official summery of the episodes states that Ash battles the new Poison Gym Leader for his 8th Badge.
Well yeah, that's fine, I figured it'd be a different gym. I'm just saying, they'll have to stop at Opelucid EVENTUALLY. Can't name drop and not follow through in some compacity.
And that's fair to say. But we don't have any info for after the Gym Battle (except I believe Best Wishes Season 2 starts the week after, but we don't know anything that's happening there beyond broad strokes), so it's impossible to say either way at this point.
I don't think Plasma is going to play an important part in the anime at all. D: The only hint of them even in the anime were the canned episodes BW23 and BW24, which will probably never be aired, so. :| Cheren apparently isn't important enough to be in the anime either, or he'll be a one-time character.
But here's a good question...how are they gonna hax Ash out of another League title this time?
I personally couldn't give two craps about the anime, I want the games to come out. :D I still find it annoying that Ghetsis and N haven't made a single appearance in the anime, despite my uncaring attitude towards it.
The last trainer that he faces will have an Arceus.

On another note, I wonder how many gym leaders they've changed for BW2. I'd guess half of them. I also hope they continue the trend from the first couple of gyms in BW1, where the gym serves as more than just a fancy room to do battles in.
And the dynamic music. I really wish they do more out of this. If we get a city with a reason to revisit multiple times throughout the story (which BW1 REALLY lacked), perhaps a street band that gets more members the more you progress in the story? Would have been awesome.

Well lets see, we have Cheren, Homika, Shizui, and Elesa confirmed, and Brycen unconfirmed(I personally think he will still be one) Also, I don't know if anyone else has pointed it out yet, but the Bug gym appears to still be the 3rd gym, you can see the left side of it it's place in the badge case.

As you said, I think it was the crossbones (Koffing) on the second badge that led many to believe she was the second gym leader.

The BW2 games look amazing though. The kami trio formes actually look pretty good. Better than there humanoid formes IMO.

new kami forms sound interasting although they will probally all go to uber because they get increased stats i cant wait to use the tornadus sacred beast form!
I like them but I (1) really hope they're not locked to dream abilities and (2) Birdorus isn't screwed completely stat-wise
