How EXACTLY does the Quick Feet ability work? How much does it raise speed by? Is your speed only increased WHILE you have a status effect, or can you keep raising your speed? Do self-induced status effects raise your speed?

I heard of the GTS Cloning Glitch and i have some questions.

1) Is it Dangerous, can i lose pokemon
2) Is It difficult to do
3) How do u do it?
 
31 HP: Often dozes off
31 Atk: Likes to thrash about
31 Def: Capable of taking hits
31 Sp. Atk: Mischevious
31 Sp. Def: Somewhat vain
31 Spd: Alert to sounds

I had a Brave Growlithe that hatched and it said that it "Likes to thrash about." When I checked the IVs, its attack wasn't 31. Can someone explain why? Its attack stat ended up being 25-26.

There aren't enough characteristics for each of the 31 IV values, obviously. Thus it goes in "waves" - "Like to thrash about" coming up at 31, 26, 21, 15 etc. These actual figures are only off the top of my head, but the point remains.
 
^It would 16 instead of 15. "Likes to Thrash About" is your Pokemon's characteristic if Attack is your highest IV and if when divided by 5, it has a remainder of one. Which is, like pooch said, 31, 26, 21, 16, 11, or 6. It's the same thing with Mischevious, Often Dozes Off, Capable of Taking Hits, Somewhat Vain, and Alert To Sounds, too.
 
So I have a copy of Fire Red and I want to catch a Clefairy and tutor it to learn Softboiled. If I happen to catch a male one(25% chance) and transfer it over with Softboiled will I be able to breed it to create baby Cleffa with Softboiled in D/P?

If not, then how is it possible to get a Magic Guard Clefable with Softboiled?
Should I use Wish instead?

Does anyone know how much the sp. attack will raise when a petaya berry is used?

Petaya berry raises Sp. Attack in a Pinch.
 
let's say I am crazy, and using a pokemon explosion as its' only attack. Would a life orb be the best choice to make sure it hurts the most?

You can lose pokemon doing it, however as long as you ask for crazy impossible trades it should work fine (like lvl 9 dialga, just watch out for jerk hackers that will take you up on that offer)

It is ridiculously difficult in that there is currently no set in stone manner to do it. It works like 8 percent of the time or somesuch >.>
