If I keep training my Elekid with Sheltin on Route 213, he's got 3 Gyrados, which is (6 ATck EV) in all, right? So if it's got Pokerus, then that would double to getting (12 Atck EV) every battle. And then, if he's holding Macho Brace, that would double to 24? Or just add to 18?

It wouldn't show up in the fourth gen dex; Extrasensory is a move Zapdos got only in Pokémon XD, Gale of Darkness, which was a third generation game. It cannot be learned in the fourth generation, thus is not displayed. Same goes for Pokémon that got tutored moves in the third generation, but cannot learn the moves naturally this gen.

Also, Yeb, as far as I know, unless there are other evasion modifiers in place, all moves have their listed accuracy. Fog however, reduces accuracy (I'm not sure of the level, I'm guessing only 1 though).
 
Bronzong does well as a Defensive one IMO


Can swarming pokemon be found if they are not swarming via PokeRadar or some other method?
 
Well Blissey is already the best Special wall, so you'd be better off going mixed or physical in your walling. I don't know which of the two is better though, as I don't know much about Bronzong.
 
I have a question. I really want to restart my Diamond game, but I don't want to lose my 36+ Pokemon I use for competitive battling. Apparently PBR doesn't allow you to trade them over and back like Colosseum, so how do I go about this when I only have one game pak and one DS? Do I have to send all 36 to someone else and have them trade them back to my new game?

I'm afraid that's the only way to go. PBR does however "copy" your Pokemon over from your DS, though they can't be traded back and forth. I guess if you were to only use PBR for battling it would be ok, but otherwise your gonna have to entrust somebody with your Pokemon.
 
What's the easiest way to test Hidden Power in Diamond?

I was thinking MetalKid's IV Calc, then an HP Calculator, but I think there might be another way.

My way takes a long time but w/e: I just save first and then fight some pokemons.

Like if I battle Rhydon and my Hidden Power is supereffevctive, then I know it's either grass,water,ice,fighting,steel. And then I battle a different pokemon that will help me narrow it down a bit.

Another way is to IV battle. Find out the Ivs and then use the Hidden Power guide of peterco/X-Act.

The best way to determine the type (without calculations) is to go into a 2 vs 2 battle with a Kecleon as your partner.

Yeah I haven't encountered a trainer with a kecleon in D/P

EDIT: Oh partner...I get it. Oh well but that means you gotta level it up...

@Godoffaith: You can use Snorlax,Cresselia and to a lesser extent, Regice. :(
 
Due to the fact that the main site is down, could anybody post some sort of guide to getting on #smogon and downloading IRC (like which client is the best etc.)?
