I'm curious. Are the pinch berries (Petaya, Liechi, Salac, etc) still not usable for OU because they're not released? If so, shouldn't Petaya Berry be availaible since you could technically steal them with Thief if you fight Morimoto in Castelia City(each of the Simi monkeys have them)?
It is going to be a combination of the two. But as of now, the Smogon PO server members are drifting over to Pokemon Showdown. As time goes on, it will eventually reach a point where the Smogon PO server will no longer be supported/used for tiers because its user base would be too small.

Yes.
I'm under the impression that there's a Soul Dew Clause, in which case it's the former (straight-up ban).
From what I can tell, rain got more than a few good toys from bw2 (namely thundurus, keldeo and tornadus t from what I can tell) which has caused a huge spike in use of rain teams. So I personally would not run a sun team right now. However it does have the pro's of preventing thunder and hurricane spam.
Ultimately, if you do use sun, use it carefully or risk being bulldozed over by the multitude of rain teams
Sun is okay, but it's not as good as it was in BW 1. The disparity between the boosts the other weathers got (most notably Rain) and the limited tools Sun gained access to really hurt it. Perhaps the most important change that's now available to Drought teams is Roost Volcarona; with it, one can easily acquire multiple boosts and muscle through teams, even in inclement weather. Giga Drain on Venusaur and ResTalk Ninetails are also nice changes, but it's not that great compared to things like the therian forms, Keldeo, or even Superpower Stoutland. In short, it can still dominate against weatheless teams, but will have more trouble against opposing Rain and Sand.
Venusaur got gigadrain. Guys growth Venusaur can just outright beat Chansey and Blissey with gigadrain.

Is sandstorm still viable on OU? Because what I see is that the metagame is too overcentralized around rain. I don't want to be forced to run rain teams just to win.
Sand is still very viable. Especially with Superpower Stoutland released. I've even been running an adapted version of the Euthanasia RMT and its been working wonders. While everyone is loving using all of rains new toys that just means it should be even easier to check all those threats.
I never said Sun was doomed to obscurity, just that its boosts weren't as good as the ones Rain got.

So, to make sure this isn't some error by the poster: Signatures have to be 500- pixels in width, but 100+ pixels in height (so as tall as we like (within reason))?
Maybe not for a while though depending on the rules, as it won't be fully operational for some time.

Has anything ever been "un-ubered" and brought back to OU?
Latias was "un-ubered" in DPP OU, and I suppose the few ubers at the beginning of BW: the deoxys, darkrai, shaymin-s, manaphy, salamence and garchomp.

The MM effect increases the odds of a shiny. This is possible, per Bulbapedia, because an Egg holds information about whether the parents are international or not [http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Masuda_method#Mechanics_and_reasoning].
The question: If you trade an MM'd egg, does this "info" get kept or discarded?
i.e., If I were to trade an MM egg, does the recipient have a 1/366 chance of getting a shiny, or 1/8192?
