Yes Tangrowth works VERY nicely as a physical wall.
125 Base Defence is "NICCEEE"
Which ties it with.. Gliscor.

Both of them are awesome physical tanks, and can both take some nice physical punishment :-D.

Though when using him you have to watch out for special attacks (in which case.. other physical walls need to watch out for them also).

Cheaplax

Maybe this isn't a simple question, but how well might this work in the wi-fi battle tower:

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Nature: Careful (+Sp.Def, -Sp.Atk)
EVs: 220hp, 36def, 252spdef
- Fissure
- Double Team
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Maybe the EVs are bad, but you get the idea.

Focus Sash WILL remain after usage, it just can not be reused in the same battle. Meaning it can only activate ONCE per battle.
It can then be reactivated in the next battle that you use it in.
Actually, if you use it out on the road (against a random trainer or in a wild battle) it DOES permanently disappear. I've accidentally lost one that way.

Really? I remember having mine activate at the E4.. and it was there the battle afterwards... Eh, I'll go test it again later and save before then.

Lol, it was a simple answer...

Okay, how about:

Lapras @ Leftovers
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252hp, 148def, 108spdef
- Sheer Cold
- Double Team
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Yea, I can confirm that focus sash does dissappear in regular battles - I just lost one by leaving it on a pokemon in a trainer battle

What is in the house that's always locked on the top right corner of Canalave City? Can you go inside?

You go into there for the Darkrai event I think. Though you need to go to a Nintendo Event to gain access in there.

Oh... dang, I better take off my Focus Sash's before I do anything then.

ok, so if im transferring a pokemon from emerald to dp that only has one ability, how does the game decide which ability it gets from dp?

for example, shroomish has effect spore only in emerald. but dp offers it effect spore AND poison heal. how does the game decide with ability the shroomish gets when transferred to dp?

Just tested this. My Ninjask held a Focus Sash, and fought a wild Fearow. The Fearow used Drill Peck, making it a super-effective attack, and my Ninjask "held on using its Focus Sash".

After running from the battle, my Ninjask no longer was holding anything.

I think it determines it based on some hidden value inside of the game. (Or should I say.. on the pokemon)

so what if i just cloned the shroomish i want on emerald, and sent a couple over? is that the best way to get that shroomish with poison heal? im just worried that my "perfect" shroomish has been set into effect spore or something, and no matter how many i transfer over, it will always be effect spore. know what i mean?

Yeah, I know what you mean.
I recommend that you clone it and then send it over. Or maybe evolve it into a Breloom before pal parking it over ;-D

I know about the other Donphan sets, but does this one even have a chance?

Donphan@Choice Scarf
Jolly 28 Hp/252 Atk/228 Spd
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Poison Jab/Rapid Spin
Fire Fang

It's like a pseudo-Choice Scarf Hera. The Ev's make it outspeed Base 95's maxed out. I personally won't use it, it's just a thought.

>.> You can just say it if it doesn't work.

E- Squared
On a sub-passing Jolteon...
It kind of depends on the moveset, but I've always liked Leftovers (though I'd rather use a berry in this case)

It also depends on your team, and what you want to pass.
You could always try to set your HP so that 4 substitutes activates your berry, and then you pass off that stat from the berry.

Pick a berry that is beneficial to the guys that you're planning to BP to.
