Could somebody give me a link to the place where it has a chart and/or information about the small description about the pokemon. For example, I think "likes to thrash about" means the pokemon has a 31 Attack IV. I remember seeing the information somewhere before but I can't seem to remember where. THanks in advance.

It means that the Pokemon's highest stat is attack AND has a chance of being 31, 26, etc. Decreasion by 5.

Often dozes off - HP
Alert to sounds - Speed
Mischevious - Sp. Atk.
Somewhat vain - Sp. Def.
Capable of taking hits - Defense

I've been having a nightmarish time acquiring a Calm female Ralts. I have been endlessly breeding and hatching eggs but to no avail. My Modest female Ralts and Gentle male Ralts have produced plenty Lax, Docile, Lonely and Adamant Ralts, but not a single Calm. In fact, Calm is practically the only nature I haven't seen on one of my hatchlings. And not only have I been unable to acquire one through breeding, but catching a Calm female Ralts is nigh impossible. I have yet to see one in the game, and I'm becoming quite irritated. Any possible solutions that don't involve the GTS (my Nintendo Wi-Fi is on the fritz)?

Get a Calm SOMETHING with Synchronize, put it in front, and go Pokeradaring for Ditto east of Canalave City until you find a Calm one (preferably with good stats). Then, go Underground and dig up an Everstone. You know what to do.

Would using two Life Orbs be considered cheating, considering there's only one legitly available?

What is the point in haveing a wall/ Tank? I have a spot reserved for one, but i'm not sure if i even want it.....

Say your opponent has an Azelf out (or any powerful sweeper), and you have a poke that is slower than it, and super-weak to Psychic.

You know they're going to attack and kill your poke, so you want to switch - but since all of your other pokes are sweepers and you have no tanks, something is going to die, or you're going to take a lot of damage anyway.

If you had had a tank on your team, you could have switched to that and taken only a little damage, and hopefully scared the foe's poke away. Now (also hopefully) you can switch one of your more offensive pokes in later.

But at a more advanced level, the rules of "physical tank" and "special tank" don't apply as much in D/P. Really, you need pokemon that can switch in on certain pokes/attacks and then attack themselves. Later when you get more advanced about team roles, read #4 here:
