I just offered a person in my other league Owen Daniels for Matt Forte, and she accepted. Hopefully Forte has a good second half of the season and makes this a steal.

EDIT: Boy am I glad I benched Vernon Davis this week. He hasn't even caught a ball yet and we're nearing the end of the third quarter :x
 
I drafted Alfred Morris in the last round in a league, and I've never looked back since. He's definitely made up for the disappointment of BJGE so far.

Gore got hurt, and Hunter was getting the ball even when Gore was in.

If you're in a deep league and need a running back, I highly recommend picking him up. Games like this (about 40-50 yards) will be the norm even when he's not starting, and Gore is a big injury risk.

Another testament to how lucky I've been this season; VD puts up 0 points the week I'm playing him in my money league.

Also, hoping Greene does well this week too so i can trade him away. I figured the Jets would try to ground and pound and expected them to start Tebow.. Which should have made Greene dangerous like McGhahe(or however you spell that).. but i don't think thats going to happen now.

Though everyone should keep this in mind later in the season.

This season, Chris Johnson is not desirable at all. The other CJ (Spiller) might even be more valuable than him 1:1.

AJ Green is amazing, but he is not worth the value of Stafford/Nelson combined.


If you need trade advice, you should probably list which team you are, and if you're giving Stafford for example at least list your other quarterback. I'd be more inclined to make the trade if you had Stafford/Ryan or Stafford/Peyton than Stafford and some random average QB.

RBs: Chris Johnson, Alfred Morris, Shonn Greene, Michael Bush
WRs: AJ Green, Malcolm Floyd, Steve Smith, Brandon Lloyd, Danny Amendola, Miles Austin
 
Try to see if you can keep the CJs out of it. Spiller is getting pretty much an exact split in playtime and i consider FJax an injury risk...Spiller just needs that and he is a top 5 back again. Johnson had a couple OKAY games against good defenses but he is just as likely to give you 1.8 points. Lucky for you, that guy needs to upgrade at QB.
 
You seem to be stacked at RB though, I'd honestly take a shot at AJ Green with one of your two QBs, since they've both had their BYE already and can comfortably start for the remainder of the season. I would trade Ryan and keep Stafford just because I don't think Ryan can maintain the production he's been having, so you should offload him now while he can still get value. Offer him Ryan for Green and see what he says, you might just get lucky.
 
Yeah, given your team I'd probably make the trade, regardless of which QB you end up sending.

Cj2k essentially becomes your bye week flex play (assuming 2 rb 2 wr 1 flex) while you vastly improve your own flex spot (aj > Nelson or roddy). You would only play Chris Johnson on weeks when one of your five rb/wrs are on bye.

Spiller and cj2k are really a tossup, both will proably be very inconsistent this year. If you want to make the trade without them it is still probably a good deal for you.

However, try to pull the trigger NEXT week, as you have a lot of bye week 7s and need to start stafford and spiller this week.
 
Can the comissoner of League B I guess play for rem and Flamestrike? It is pretty ridiculous that guys who have been in League B for 3 years can't even make their bye week subs and stuff...

I don't think the other people in League B would object. I would much rather have a competitive league over one where if you get to play them twice you basically get 2 free wins

thinking about offering ryan/mathews for big ben/shady. this is shallow 8-team, 2 QB league with no PPR, i also have brees, and my RBs are absolute shit (law firm/cj1k/spiller/greene). could i get a better RB than shady for this kind of deal? should i ship ryan off? i feel like we might be looking too deep into this oakland game... i mean, gonzalez is the top TE by far, and roddy/julio are both close to top 5 WRs. how good could ryan be the rest of the year?
 
I'd take Ryan/Matthews. Ryan is one of the most consistent top-scoring QBs in the league albeit having an underwhelming game last week. He's also got the best receiving core and Roddy White and Julio Jones have not yet both gone off in the same game, unless you consider Game 1 but that was mostly Julio. What I'm trying to say is that despite how good Ryan has been, he still has not hit his full potential and we might see even higher production from him once Turner/Rodgers get a more established running game going and Julio/Roddy/Gonzalez all go off together. Shady has also been very mediocre this year. In short, the upgrade from Matthews to Shady is not worth the downgrade from Ryan to Big Ben. If possible, try to get a better RB than Shady in return

Better then Shady? Lol he would have been a,first rounder even in an 8 teamer. Unless they got Ap on a discount in a lower round it's most likeky not possible with the team in question.

Sure, just don't change it this week. Most of you have gotten to play both already but I have not....same with a few others I'd imagine. Wait till everyone has played once to make it fair.

Better at this point of the season than Shady. Right now, Shady is ranked in the late teens out of all RBs in total fantasy points. If you were trading for RBs based on draft day rankings, you would be valuing Chris Johnson as the #5 RB. Also it was one of the questions the asker explicitly asked so I thought I might address it.

naw dawg. for one, i don't play flamestrike til week 9. you want to wait that long?

and two, i looked at every game where one of those teams lost. if i were to retroactively insert their best bench player for a guy who was on bye, they still would not have won any of their games. you can argue they could have theoretically been making waiver adds and such this whole time but the way i see it, their inactivity has had no impact on anyone's record.
