So Hydra, whilst exploring my house, got a bit jumpy and attacked my pet zombie pigman, thinking it a zombie. Things quickly escalated.

Pajama Zombie got nothing on this.

See how I'm almost dead? That was from 1 hit.
And since the server is currently spagged a lot of cool stuff was lost to this guy. Pretty sure it got Layell too. We had to use splash healings to kill it :x
 
Not being able to pick up items is pretty annoying.
Also, did the Zombie Pigman have a Smite IV Knockback II sword? If so, it was the mofo who took my stuff.

Oh and Mike, please finish your Wither Skelly pads regardless, 1.5 probably won't be out until late January, and knowing bukkit, we won't play it until March. So they're still gonna be useful for the upcoming months.
 
Yeah we're closing the server until we fix the item problem.

In unrelated news, I'd like to remind everyone that stuff in the charity house, with the exception of food items, is NOT free. It's for building spawn or server-approved projects. As some people will find out soon, if you take something, it's stealing which is a bannable offense.
 
Yeah, I'm shutting down the server for now.

I don't really see it as a big loss if people cannot play right now, with the whole no pick up items thing. I'd rather not people be frustrated by playing and then frustrated with a rollback as well.

So yeah, servers down until Sal and/or Oli wake up and we can fix this mess.

In case you think I stole something from the charity house: I only took what I either temporarily deposited in one of the chests earlier (because I don't have a home yet :D) or something I donated and that wasn't used (like my gold nuggets). Keep in mind that logblock wasn't up within the first few days.
 
Yeah, I'm pretty sure the only things I have taken from there are Sand to help Layell teraform around the bank, some food on the first few days, and cobble/coal for the nether pads. However, if I have taken anything else, please inform me and I will return the items with interest.

With the whole no item thing and the server being down, perhaps we could move the dragon slaying time forward to around mid January-ish?

(because thats when I can start playing again hopefully :>)
 
I plan to get minecraft sometime after Christmas so I hope to become a part of smogcraft community. I would be down for any projects after Christmas time. Is a new server being worked on or something? I haven't kept up with that much.

We recently started a new map on our server and are currently working on a town at spawn. No other major stuff has started yet, but I suggest you get minecraft quickly so you can participate in the dragon fight! :)
 
3D items are coming, just so far not to fast graphics

Also, either I'm getting pranked (likely not with the recent server issues) or something got rolled back. I haven't been on since sunday when that spawner was dug out. I have at least 3 others that can say that spawner was dug out. Also, the door in the picture was blocked by a piece of dirt for some reason...

And because I'm tired of getting smart ass answers from one of our smogcraft mods, please don't respond to this unless you can help out. I'm honestly not looking forward to lighting this thing up again with so little space to hide from these little punks. Also, that wall of dirt on the left was made by me to combat them while i was seeing what the heck happened.
 
I love how the map looks. It's like someone took Europe, snipped Italy off, and pasted India in its place.

Can I help out in building anything? My sheep farm was a great help before, I want to make something useful again.
 
I do have a bunch of sheep sort of in a pen Rawbi and we'd all love another doomsheep farm. I think spawn could handle bigger pens maybe in the style of Oho Oasis.

I'll be working on this iron golem farm soon so I'll certainly need help with the materials and logistics of this. I am certain this will help everyone, and then afterwards I'll go and build some giant towers around it so we can see how that goes.

EDIT: MikeDec no need to worry on that it's on the opposite corner of spawn from our village we will be fine.

Layell, when I am done with the pads, I will help you with the Iron golem farm. Just make sure that there are no villages or villagers within 100 blocks of them, otherise they mess up spawns for the golems.
