1. Can anyone 100% confirm (or deny) that Rivalry also reduces attack if the poke is fighting a poke of opposite gender?

2. Does Toxic max out at 8/16th per turn? (50%) If so, did it always?

3. Does the Toxic counter reset if the pokemon switches out?

4. If a pokemon uses a consumable item, switches out, then switches back in later, will Recycle allow the item to come back, or will it fail?

1 I think not.
2 Yes.
3 Yes.
4 I don't know.

I would suggest that hypothetical trainer use Cresselia, as they really need defense against SpecsMence. They also have no trouble with most steel types, though it may be could to train a hypothetical Magnezone just in case. Actually, training both might be worthwhile, as Magnezone and Cresselia by themselves cover each other very well.

Pokemon.com even said it was supposed to come out today e_e I'm guessing it's just because the WiiConnect24 servers aren't ready yet to handle connecting across the world.

Wouldn't a Bold Cresselia suck against a Specsmence?

I think I will train both, erm..the hypothetical trainer would train both for the variation in the team.

Well, you'd have to EV it a little in Sp.Def, and it's easy switching in as long as its not on a Draco Meteor, in which case a good sturdy steel would be the better choice.

I wish that hypothetical trainer the best of luck, especially if they are trying for a good Hidden Power on the Magnemite.

So I guess the verdict is to raise both?

This hypothetical trainer needs it. He/she might just settle for Flash Cannon instead of Hidden Power if he/she can find another TM for it. Oh, well, better get to testing the Magnemites...

Does anyone know if Nintendo has specific customer service areas for each game or if it's just general? I've seen some disturbing things on Wi-fi and I wanted to find out if it's a glitch on Nintendos end(has happened before) or if it's the work of hackers.

As a Gamestop employee, I am here to answer all your release date questions.

For some reason, Gamestop always starts selling the game the day AFTER the official release date. Supposedly this gives them time to be organized, plus, since the release date is the 25, what happens if the shipment comes late, and doesn't get there 'til 9:00 pm on that day? So it's 'street date' is the day after.

Those Gamestops you talked to DID get Battle Revolution today, but they won't sell it to you until tomorrow. It's either under the counter or in the back. I've already seen our shipment, but we don't sell it until tomorrow.

Gyro Ball used Attack, Grass Knot uses Special Attack. It's easy to see in the profile. The red logo means physical and the blue is special.

They weren't Gamestops though x) Unfortunately, I don't have the luxury of living close to one. The stores I was at were EB Games, Future Shop and Wal-Mart (lol, last resort). They all said their shipments didn't have the game or they didn't receive anything yet that day or the night before, and were still waiting for a delivery (this was at 4:00PMish).

Ether way, I reserved a copy for when they do come in, so it's all good.

Lol, Wal-Mart. XP

Actually, you DID call a Gamestop, since they and EB Games are the same company now. If the sign still says EB (I'm suprised; I thought they were all switched over by now), it won't for too much longer.

There's one at Redmond Town Center, Washington, that still has the EB Games sign

What is the percentage of hitting a critical hit without any items or anything?

It's something like 6.25%

On a side note: I hate Magnezone breeding...

that i know but because it does ??? damage im wondering wuld Gyro Ball need Atk EVS to be stronger and same for Knot on Special EVS? Even though i know Gyro uses up speed for damage but still just to make sure.

A physical move like Gyro Ball gets stronger with Attack EVs, whereas a special one like Grass Knot would draw power from Special Attack EV's, yes.

How exactly does the WiFi Tower work? My guess is that you can link up to partner up with anybody and battle AI or other Human Pairs, or just do 1v1's against other humans.

No, I don't have WiFi. -_-;

should i give my arcanine an adamant or jolly nature? he's gonna have maxed speed and atk EVs, but is there anything that a jolly nature would let him outspeed? he's running extremespeed, but is that enough to give him an adamant nature?
