Does Me First really always go first? Does Choice Band allow consecutive Me First's or does it fail like with Sleep Talk?

EDIT: Also, does Me First copy moves that don't do damage, like Screech or Will-o-Wisp?

Me First does not have a priority.

- You have to be faster then the opponent for Me First to work.
- It will work consecutively with choice items.
- It will only copy moves that do damage.

Is Encore still active if I switch out my Pokémon?
Yes

I hope this is in the right place... I just caught a heatran, modest nature, with IVs of 24hp/ 15 atk/ 18 def/ 27sp atk/ 12 sp def/ 21 spd. I'm having some trouble decided whether to use a specs or scarf set. The specs set is very tempting, cuz 585 ap atk is serious business, but with his speed, 252 EVs will tie 252 jolly tyranitar at 243. What should I do?

On serebii, they said there was someway to get an electivire and magmortar in PBR...

Well Serebii's making us wait, though they hinted it involves getting Gold and Silver trainer cards (on PBR)

Does Leaf Guard prevent you from resting?

Nope, in fact, it heals sleep at the end of the turn. Same with Manaphy's ability when it's raining.

You should probably look at the Speed Tiers thread for help. What are you trying to outspeed?

Say, I don't think CS + 21 speed IV's will let you outspeed max speed CB Jolly Dugtrio, a guy that obviously uses Earthquake.

How many levels of stats do we need to input on Metalkid's IV calculator for it to be as accurate as an IV battle?(level 100 check)

Metalkid estimates if you enter all level up info from 1-20 it will almost be as accurate as a LV100 battle. I think this claim was on the previous layout of his website.

should i give my arcanine an adamant or jolly nature? he's gonna have maxed speed and atk EVs, but is there anything that a jolly nature would let him outspeed? he's running extremespeed, but is that enough to give him an adamant nature? he's also running a choice band btw

That's a lot of Rare Candies...

Would 10 or 12 suffice?

I find it takes about 14 (get to 15) to get a bit of a clear idea, but it takes about Lv25 to get super accurate IV's.

You've asked this question already. Most people have said Jolly.

yea i've asked this question like 3 times, but so far the only answer i've gotten is:

@bkkinneas: I also currently run adamant (with CB) as it gives it a lot more power, but jolly could be useful, so why not breed both?

...yea

You can use Pick Up to get more, or you can try IV battling for exact IVs.

If you really dont want to use rare candies, just go fight something high leveled with EXP share, record the EXACT EVs the pokemon you killed gives, and it should have the same effect. This method is actually better than rare candying it IMO.

If not you can IV battle but you'll have to have a friend you can continually harass.
