I just got it, and I was very disappointed that I couldn't have a lv100 battle with my friend, seeing as there was only a lv50 mode offline (I've yet to go online).

Some of the colosseums are really annoying, and the announcer is laughable. "TORTERRA USED ITS MOVE!" I cringe every time it repeats the text on the screen.

Does the announcer ever say stuff like "THAT WAS BRUTAL!" after an OHKO move? :)

One thing that bugs me is the lack of customization for the characters. Like, you can't even use alot of the gear for each one, and only get like 4 possible hair colors or 4 diffrent shirts... it sucks.

You get costumes, though. That's something different. Plus... you can edit your skin color. So that's kinda... interesting.

I'll be getting this. There's no other way for me to obtain multiple Earthquake TMs, and I might as well have some fun with these Pokemon I've spent so many hours raising.

I love this game personally. I love the battles thet make the game more livley, also the online could be better (I'd rather have 6v6) but other then that its awesome. For those not wanting to pay the 50, I don't know about where you guys live, but where i love gamestop has a deal that trade in any two wii games and you get to pick any new one. I just traded in my zelda which I already beat, and Wario Ware which got old after a month.

I own a Wii, and I will NOT be getting this game. IMO this is a waste of 50 bucks.

Seeing your Pokemon is 3D on a TV is a complete waste of money. I think this game was for all those people that buy any game that has "Pokemon" on it. They will enjoy it.

I wouldn't buy this game even if I had a Wii. I try to avoid overtly negative posts, but I am so sick and tired of Nintendo releasing these terrible excuses for games!

This game is nothing more than a battle simulator. The previous games employed shoddy Story modes, but this game doesn't even have that. All it is is a series of tournaments that you play through. As the actual game has nothing more than rental Pokemon, and you can't level up, the game is useless with without D/P. IMO, it can't even be considered a game. It actually has LESS options than any other console Pokemon game before it. No minigames or anything.

Wi-Fi is a joke. Random Wi-Fi battles are the only impetus I've seen so far for buying the game, and you can't even have 6 vs. 6? All things considered, that is a slap in the face. Even you would rather have 4 vs. 4 or 3 vs. 3, it should at least be an option-the main option.

Some of the character models actually look good, in particular the 4th generation Pokemon that Nintendo was forced to make new models for. On the other hand, some were obviously gleaned from the Gamecube games which is inexcusable given the games potential. The more attention I pay to this game, the less likely it seems that Gamefreak had anything to do with it.

The "special" Pokemon are anything but. No one is particularly impressed by a Hardy Pikachu, and the other two, as well as their items, are readily available in D/P, even if you have to search for while.

Even if you absolutely hated Colosseum and XD, both the story mode and the miscellaneous battles, at least the games were acceptable as a utility: You could store Pokemon there. Thanks to the new system of "copying" Pokemon, you can't even do that!

Even if it is true that this was the best Nintendo could come up with just a few months after the D/P release, it's also true that Nintendo is notorious for repeatedly delaying the launch dates of their games, in order to ensure a certain caliber of quality. What happened here?!

The simple facts of the matter are:

Fact 1: Console Pokemon games are low quality in almost every way.

Fact 2: Nintendo could make actually make decent console Pokemon games if they wanted to.

Fact 3: Nintendo is acutely aware of Facts 1 & 2.

Fact 4: Nintendo will not change their ways until people stop buying these console games, and press for change!

I've mainly been running into hacked teams in D/P wifi battles from people I meet online. =\ I'm skeptical about wasting money on this just to battle siblings or a few cousins who I can trust not to use a shiny Pidgeot with Sleep Powder. >_> 3D hacking would just be more fucked up.

That's odd that Wi-Fi doesn't filter Arceus but filtered my Newmoon Island Darkrai from the glitch.

So I got the game yesterday, and I'm enjoying it.

I guess it checks for the event item, as well as the Pokemon.
But that would mean the Darkrais from the Japanese event this month would be filtered out.

I've done 4 of the master round sets in Starview Colloseum. Now for the other half...

My best friend said it was good, and she's sickeningly biased against new games.

But Mom and Dad will make me earn it. Drying dishes, ewww.

I'd think they would make an exception for that, due to the ribbon and all.

Or at least I hope! :)

Why didn't they just do the Darkrai event in the first place? (honest question)

I just got to Neon Colloseum (been playing Tales of Legendia until today). This is bullshit >_<

I figured I might as well point out a few things for PBR:

- Arceus IS allowed on Wi-Fi
- PBR can not filter out Hacked / PokeSaved Pokemon / Movesets.

Proof:

Actually:
http://forums.nintendo.com/nintendo/board/message?board.id=pokemondp&message.id=580622&page=1
How it detects a "hacked" Pokemon:
The filter looks for the following:
  1. Bypassed Base Stats, if you don't know what this means, dont ask.
  2. Extremely high stats, most say 999.
  3. Any Pokemon over level 100

It does not look for:
  1. Shiny Pokemon
  2. Different Locations than those in the wild
  3. Different moves than legit Pokemon
  4. Different Abilities
  5. Excessive Pokerus

I think PBR also scans for the pokemon's hometown. I cloned the Shiny Palkia I got from the GTS and gave it to tacho, who apparently said that it can't go through. The Palkia looks legit so I assume the only thing missing from it is the hometown data.

Then once again it doesn't explain why my legit JAA Celebi can't go through...

You're one of the only people I've lost to, the other being someone with a hacked Salamence. (it was in a Master Ball and it had Hydro Pump)
