Nah i'm pretty sure Elis time in NY is over. Most INTs last three seasons, was the biggest reason the Giants collapsed last year(and 2010), is getting old oh and did I mention hes color blind??? Nassib was brought in to compete for the starting job. Even if hes mediocre he might get some playing time in the middle of the season after one of Elis(many) "bad days".
EDIT: These teams would be interested in trading for Eli:
Cowboys no
(maybe) Seahawks are you fucking kidding
Trade bait indeed.
I am in a hurry so I cannot see if anything else is wrong (honestly Schaub is worse so I can agree to Texans)
I'm guessing one pick defines your whole draft? The rest of of the Dolphins picks have been solid, I think they've filled a lot of holes on defense, I especially like the two CB they drafted and the other OLB. Even then, selecting Dion Jordan wasn't necessarily a bad pick, I just think a lot people (including myself) thought Lane Johnson was a better pick. Still, I'm not going to sit here and pretend that I know more than whatt they know, so I'm perfectly fine with them picking Jordan.

I guess the Browns are content to losing this year when they didn't do much for their offense except getting Devone Bess from the Dolphins who is just average. Then they trade away their picks this year for picks next year. Maybe Chud can improve Weeden scheme wise this year but they clearly throwing this year away. Good old Cleveland, just keeping lowering the expectations.
I hate to be a homer but getting David Amerson in the low 2nd (when he has legit top 10 talent and fell off due to pressing for INTs and getting burned, something easily fixed by coaching), Phillip Thomas with a low 4th (when he's easily 2nd round value), Brandon Jenkins in the 5th round (better than both Werner and Carradine when healthy) and Bacarri Rambo in the 6th (why are bums and projects like JJ Wilcox and some guy from Stanford going over a turnover machine like Rambo) is monster value. Only negative is that a lot of them have rather obvious risks such as injury but if you swing for the fences and only hit 2 or 3, that's better than hitting on a bunch of mediocre players/fringe starters.
So I guess some hero has moved on to become a Cowboys fan/Falcons hater instead of Giants fan/Eagles hater. Or at least that's what I've gathered from this thread

Jags
Eli is not Peyton, and we were not interested in Peyton.
our new GM and HC let former starters hit free agency because he doesn't want old expensive players, he wants new young talent that is affordable.
so basically you know nothing.
so basically you know nothing.
What you said makes no sense. Firstly, your "new" staff didn't deal with the Peyton situation. Second, Peyton wasn't interested in the Jags. Third, you can have all the young players you want, but if you don't have a QB enjoy 8-8 best case scenario seasons.
Brandon Jenkins is most certainly not better then Bjoern Werner ever. Werner was always better and Jenkins got hurt ALL THE TIME. I'll agree Amerson has potential to be a top 10 pick, but he was absolutely horrible last year (like not even draftable). His 2011 season where he had 13 interceptions leaves hope though. Thomas was a good pick, I don't think there's any downside there.
I love Reed - yep, everyone is making the Aaron Hernandez comparison. I was mostly talking about value though. Reed was picked right where he should have gone, unlike Amerson, Thomas, and Rambo (rofl at the guys who got picked at SAF over him).No mention of Jordan Reed? That man is like an Aaron Hernandez clone. Not great at blocking, but he'll be perfect as a RB/TE/WR hybrid like how New England uses Hernandez. I think he's a great fit for Washington.
If Brandon Jenkins was that good, he would have gone in higher.
This is never, ever a reason.
NFL scouts and GMs are basically throwing darts at a high-tech dartboard, and nothing is ever exact.
Surely no one has to mention he-who-must-not-be-named, right?
