This CoroCoro is at least bountiful in info.

I have to say I love the Robin, probably the first early bird mon
I'll be taking with me. The Electric/Normal Lizard is cool too. . .
a bit shocked about its typing though. I really like that they
are thinking outside of the box when it comes to the electric mon's
design recently (Elekross, Gavantula, and Stunfisk).

Panda is awesome though I have to be begging that it does not go
Fighting/Dark because we just got a Scraggy. I wont mind if Panda
stays monotype even.

Gogoat is awesome. . . even if its gimmick, the GoGoat Ride, seems
a bit halfassed. I think we can expect the gimmick to bleed
over to other mons, particularly for 'Surf'.

I don't think the girl is too fan service related. Maybe I'm too old
to think that a 12 year old is a sex icon. . . (can't stand sexploitation).

Oh and anyone expecting the next Pokemon Spinoff to be:

VLR: XY Escape!

Because of the PokeWatches?

(also maybe Apple is on to something with their rumored IWatch
since Pokeworld is jumping on the bandwagon?)

did you notice the leaf it's holding? perhaps it'll be dark/grass, like shiftry and cacturne?

Yeah I definitely don't expect it to be an accident. I mean it could just be herbivorous. . . like panda's really are.

Edit: Could we get clarity on what exactly happened in the Pokemon Smash episodes regarding Sylveon?

PostEdit: I actually think the Panda could definitely get a Bamboo staff in evolution without being grass type. Farfetched is the precedent.

sap-sipper perhaps?

doesn't sound like it'd be too useful for resistances, but if it's a fighting type and gets a grass boost... not too shabby, yeah?

...wait
is sap sipper that one ability that doesn't actually grant an immunity or is that justified

Sap Sipper grants an immunity, yes.

Sap Sipper definitely makes sense for the panda pokemon. I'd be alright with Fighting/Grass really. In fact, I think I would consider that the best case scenario. But yeah, Fighting/Dark has already recently been done well. I have trouble imagining a beaglemander final evo as still being electric/normal. Hopefully it won't just end up as another non-evolutionary pokemon that looks like it definitely should evolve.

Might have something to do with the fact that anime 10 year olds look like real life 20 year olds.

SO here's something you don't have to read if you don't want to, but it regards the moderators concerns
Anybody who really wants to talk and look into everything extensively should talk to Shockwave about joining the XY frequenters usergroup, where you are allowed to baselessly speculate to your heart's content. I can see some of the posts that makes Stellar want to draw the line, and we should look to stay off of his badside. Bring it all to the XY frequenters usergroup, we can disect every aspect of information together in a place where it's not gonna bug people.

I think Ken sugmori has an assistant illustrator this time around. The same guy who created that movie poster that's a full body shot of Mewtwo's new form also seems to be the artist behind those illustrations of Xerneas and Yveltal seen in the magazine spread, and it doesn't quite look like Sugimori's stuff. And has anyone gotten to take a close look at the reel of images lining the page next to the character art for the male player? There'ss some weird looking thing on the very top of the upper right corner of that page, I can't quite make it out...

On another note, is it silly to wish that people would stop comparing Gogoat to Sawsbuck? There are already a few undesirable comparisons made, and it could hurt Gogoat if he's not given a chance for being too similar to a recent Pokemon.

Sugimori never ever handles the movie or anime stuff
In fact I don't think there's much overlap between the two teams.

But yes there are different artists for various odds and ends of artwork. I believe many of the trainer artworks (Bianca & Cheren definitely) were done by Yusuke Ohmura.
There's also images like these...
290px-Battle_Subway_artwork.png

350px-HGSS_Walking_Pok%C3%A9mon.png

who are done by other (uncredited, so far as I can tell) artists

That said I'm pretty sure that the Xerneas & Yyvetal alternate drawings here are done by Sugimori. They seem done in the style of the Origin Giratina, Black Kyurem and White Kyurem done on the boxes of Platinum & BW2

Surprised when I saw the Gogoat gets horn leech, does this mean it will no longer be a pokemon exclusive move? (inb4 Virizion gets it).

Most excited for the panda pokemon, its final evo type (if it has one) is probably the hardest to guess. Is parting remark confirmed as a fighting move, based on the name and the description I would have thought of it being a dark type move if anything! They tend to do indirect things like lowering stats and switching out (typical dark type flavour).

Technically I don't think either of the new moves have their typings confirmed.

Riding on cars Pokemon, zettai ryouiki, a pandamon (3 gens too late but w/e) and customizable appearances.

Christmas came early for me.

So it was the same for you too, huh?

Anyway, I didn't address the lizard and panda in my last post so I'l do that now, the normal/ electric typing on the lizard makes me hopeful for the future, as I would love to see more normal/ "any other type other than flying" pokemon. It's move, Parabola Charge, also fills me with hope, as it opens the door for Giga Drain clones with different typing - hey it happened with Quick Attack and Hyper Beam - so don't say it wouldn't happen (The very thought of fire, ice, and water typed Giga Drains makes me all kinds of nerdy.) Although many have voiced there opinion on it's appearance, I will abstain from judging it's appearance until I see it's evolution - if it has one - as a good looking evolution can make a it's pre-evolutions awesome (Gyarados and Milotic are a great examples of this) or vise-versa (I cringe every time I see a Smoochum reach level 30).

Now that we're finally getting a proper panda pokemon to play with (I love alliterations) instead of that wibbly-wobbly, polka-doted rabbit-thing, I'm going to use it on my team. and the reason for that is because pandas can be more ferocious than they are cute - and that's awesome enough to have anything based on them on my team during the story regardless of it's usefulness. And I swear if it evolves into a panda wielding any sort of weapon made out of bamboo, I will probably have to shower and change pants several times.

The thing that fascinates me most about Yancham is the extremely obvious direction they take with his bad-boy theming. Even his name is based on the japanese for "naughty"

The electric lizard reminds me of Daxter from Jak and Daxter.

I really like all the new pokemon and stuff, I don't really feel like going into much detail since I'm tired. xD

Yancham and Gogoat are good. The other two are the opposite, although their evolutions could make up for that.

The customization is great! It's a very small addition and doesn't give as much choice as I hoped for, but it's a step in the right direction and they can only improve on it.

Parabola Charge is a cool move. It looks like it's the Electric-type version of Horn Leech, assuming it's a physical move. If it's special, then Giga Drain but you get the point.

October needs to come quicker x.x

The goat is a great design and I think the panda is awesome, but the lizard looks like they've just taken Mawile's colour palette and the bird.... looks like it's been drawn by a three-year old.

I'm a bit disappointed they've listed the panda's type as Fighting. Surely grass/fighting would be more suiting?

Read these. They are close to ok translations:
Chespin is the Shelled Chestnut Pokémon. Its head and back is covered by a hard shell. It can protect itself using its shell when attacked. By focusing power into the spike s on its head, they become sharper and harder.
Further information on Fennekin: Fox Pokémon. It’s a fire type Pokémon, the heat that it blows out of its ears is over 200 degrees Celsius. ??? is its favourite food, it carries it around and eats it as a snack.
Froakie is the Foam Frog Pokémon and said to be able to jump as high as the third floor of a building. The bubbles coming from its chest and back are bouncy, and protects it from enemy attacks. It temporarily blinds its opponents by launching foam into their faces.

So to me, Parting Remark does not sound physical whatsoever. Does that mean it could be a special Fighting-type move? If so, that would be great. We could always use more of those instead of having to rely on HP or Focus Blast. The name itself also leads to the idea of it being a special Fighting-type U-turn. Not bad.
Just got here. How's it going guys? Anyway I think that Parting Remark is a status move, which would be pretty awesome because you can simultaneously lower your foes attack/special attack while switching into a trapper. That is, of course of that is what it does.

Inb4 chespin evolves into OU's new bulky rapid spinner with dat dere shell armour

Inb4 Fennekin evolves into another useless fire type (unless added moves/abilities/changes etc to make fire types less useless)

Inb4 Froakie evolves into Gyarados v3 (Feraligatr was v2) except no DD just bounce

I swear if shell armour doesn't get buffed somehow, I'll be dissapointed AF. (For example: Reduces contact damage by 50% when attacked first) - If it gets that buff Torterra = new Excadrill/Terrakion/Dnite/Garchomp counter :)
