Please explain. I'm on my iPod and it takes far too long to load the official site.

I mean people have posted charts like this before...but when it's put this way on the official site...c'mon. This is basically teaching 11 year old kids around the world what the word 'obvious' means.

That pictures been up there since Sylveon was revealed hasn't it? I remember seeing it a while back.
But yeah, imo, Sylveon is definitely flying.

I might have to drop Chespin and go with Froakie, Gogoat is a badass.

Also the official typings for the four new Pokemon are on the site, if Pancham was going to be a Fairy-type they probably would have kept that hidden.
you could make the case that its evolutions could be Fairy-type, but how does a big fat bear translate to a fairy?

I don't know. I've honestly never been to that site until this new stuff released today. I don't see any way it could really be disputed though.

The only way it could be disputed is if this so called 'fairy' type was weak to electric (which I suppose is somewhat understandable). However I still see no need or want for a new type. That being said, the pokebeach guy has been right so far...

Kalos definitely sounds more Greek than French.
True, Kalos (Κάλλος) is a greek kind-of-formal word for beauty (noun)

Did I miss the part where we discussed how blatantly obvious it is on the official site that Sylveon is Flying type?

Imo the fairy theories are dead.
Are we talking about the same site here? How did you deduce that?
Not being ironic, I want to know if I've missed anything. EDIT: Oh hell no you did NOT mean the star with Eevee in the center we are so done talking about supposed "patterns"

Oh god. Panda has little wings. Fighting/Fairy.

Um no he don't. Love Parting shot's effect btw :D
Jizzed in my pants :D

Holy shit I love Helioptile even more now! Dat cute as hell frilled neck lizard!

Actually the animations all looked kinda derpy, like the way the camera moves or the walking/running style.
However, some things left me with a great impression, such as the Y-girl turning her head to look at the shops, the X-boy sitting on a bench and the Roselia fountain.

Also, we got some things we were waiting for in the previous thread: Contact moves are still not excactly the two pokemon making contact - we saw Horn leech.

You see the picture with the eeveelutions and their types? Each of them is opposite a type they are strong/weak against. Sylveon is opposite Jolteon, so...
Also, he does have little wings (well, they're wing-like). They're green though, so it could just mean his evolution will have leaves or something sprouting from it's back, thus making it part grass (which seems kinda likely).

As soon as I saw this

I knew the game is still grid-based since the grass is still placed by tiles.

Also, really loving the back for Chespin's model for some reason.
34.jpg
It's even more set in stone that I'm gonna start with him, I can look at that back for days on end.

Also, Fletchling is definitely the starting route bird with that level (not that I had any doubts)

If it learns Flame Charge at an early level, then hello new team member!

Do you guys know what this means?

It means they get their STAB moves at level 5?! 0.o Beginning rival battles be damned!

At least Chespin gets early Rollout

lol, original trailer was probably Froakie just using Quick Attack.... wait... a fast frog for once?

EDIT: P.S. 100th post, and a nice post for once from me. *tears up a bit*

Or ground. Opposite Electric.
Or NOT.
We are so done talking about "patterns". A "pattern" now destroyed, for example, is that at every generation when Eevelutions are introduced, there is more than one.
Seriously, I thought this topic had ended when Hirobyte tweeted... Anyway, whatever the site says now about Sylveon was there too before the new gameplay trailer or before smash. We don't have anything NEW that implies anything that couldn't be implied with the previous info.
And anyway, what in the world does a Flying type have to do being weak to fighting and strong vs ice? (May 12th Pokemon Smash)

Tbh it just looks like fluff, whether you mean the thingies above its shoulders or behind its shoulderpads.

Is it confirmed Sylveon is the only new eeveelution coming?

Beginning rival battles are going to harder then ever.

Where exactly did you get these screenshots, PME? Could you post the original article?

Edit: Never Mind found the source

Diagonal movement!

Why can't their be more than four moveslots? I was really hoping for more moveslots for once also I like the new battle HUD much better than the one from bw2.

Are we still going over the Eevelutions diagram? Top to bottom, they're by order of introduction. That's the pattern. You sound like a bunch of conspiracy nuts!

Yo did anybody consider that maybe you get a different regional dex depending on what starter you choose? And there will be a group of catchable Pokemon available no matter who you choose (essentially being the version exclusives).
Here's why I think that might be possible:

1. Three dexes, three starters

2. Water starter --> Coastal Dex
Fire starter --> Mountain Dex
Grass starter --> Central Dex

Makes sense to me...

This could be really cool, mainly to me because it could mean you could actually get to choose which part of the region to explore first- maybe you get the new pokedex as you arrive in the new region, and the game uses some sort of Pokemon Stadium like level system, where the opponents levels are proportionate to yours.

On the official site its literally a logic puzzle telling you to solve the pattern. It even tells you to look closely. It's so far beyond obvious that I can't believe anyone would think different.
