I am really impressed with the battlefields now, and seeing the underwater one is just amazing.

Anyways I took pics of Glow Punch from different perspectives, for those who can't view it in the trailer well or want to appreciate it.

It doesn't let you do this in double battles currently (Except XD/Colo iirc).

Oh wow, those new screenshots look awesome. Not overly happy about Dive being back (unless its a bit more freeform) and it's a shame they don't place a restriction on what Pokemon you can use while underwater... Flabebe just looks really really wrong fighting that Clauncher.

As for the new trailer:
I wished they'd show Orotto alone so we can glance at it better, but hey this works too.

If Glow Punch is indeed a Psychic type physical attack, then we can assume that Fennekin will be more physical than special? I kinda wished for special, but w/e this works too. It'll also probably get Zen Headbutt.

I also noticed the underwater thing. Can't wait to see what's underwater. (hopefully not a limited area)

Fennekin learns "Glow Punch" huh? Hmmm uh so he's going to be this dude that stands up later maybe?

Huh and wow the screen shakes a lot when attacks are used. Intense.

You really can't say Glow punch will be physical... I mean How is Pycho cut physical and it dose not even touch the pokemon?

If I understand it correctly. It's some kind of telekinetic projectile. Same logic applies of why Seed Bomb or Rock Throw..etc are physical. Also, it'd be REALLY weird to have a punching move that's special.

Not to dash your Psyshock v2 hopes but Glow Punch is Super Effective against Litleo so it's either Fighting, Rock, Ground, or Water(lol). Smart money's on Fighting.

Glow Punch was definitely the SE sound effect and most likely Fighting-type.

1. To me, it sounds like the normal effective sound effect. Just listen to when Finnekin hits Zoroark with Fire Spin.
2. Even if it is a fighting type move, it does not mean it's going to be a fighting type. And...
3. Calm your tits.

Don't look too much into this one alleged Fighting move. Its not even certain to be Fighting-type, and if it is, it might just be a "shout out" to the decade-long(!) tradition of having the Fire starter be part Fighting. A single Fighting type move does not necessarily mean it's going to be that type. It doesn't overrule all the shown Psychic moves either.

Well, at least I know for Gen 7 and on that the Fire starter will always turn into Fire/Fighting, so I'll never get my hopes up again
 
Litleo was at Lv5 in the trailer, which means we'll probably be able to catch it as soon as we start the game. That's good news. Also, I wouldn't worry too much about the punch attack Fennekin used. Maybe Fennekin used Assist off screen?
 
I reckon litleo will be the equivalent of Shinx and Lillipup in that it evolves into a good solid mon but you can catch it early. I predict it will be a three stage evo. Also fennekin hasn't been confirmed to evolve fire/fighting has it? The only reason I have seen is a new move in the recent trailer. Someone tell me it's not fire / fighting?

I think Glow Punch will be fire or Psychic.... The move is not even dubbed. Thats the Japanese name for the move.
 
I didn't hear the SE sound for glow punch; it may be Psychic (like D-dog said).
Also, Flabebe has 66 hp at level 30. Base stat should be around 38 if my calculations are correct.

Anyway Litleo had a sweet cry I think. I haven't liked the cries all that much overall starting with gen 4 but man. Nice. It does sound like a lion kinda. Didn't someone say that it was going to or looked like it was going to transform into a manticore eventually? What's up with that I hope it doesn't it looks too cute as a lion I'd ah whatever. As long as it looks badass y'know.

The only reason Fire/Fighting is plausible on Fennekin is mostly due to the ghetto line on F/F already. Case in point: Remoraid evolved into Octillery.
