Pokémon XY Leaks

Has parabola charge's specs been in a screenshot yet? I really want to put to rest my worries that it's weaker than giga drain.

iirc, I don't remember where I heard this, but I heard Parabolic Charge hits all pokemon on the field, like Earthquake. If that's true, then it will probably have either less power or less healing than Giga Drain.

Most likely lower power. 50% is basically on every healing move ever.

You mean like surf? Because there's a mechanic for lowering the base power a of powerful move in spread situations. Just because it hits multiple opponents does not mean it has low base power. We have a slew of doubles staple moves to attest to that.

Oh yeah, I forgot about. In that case, I don't see any reason for it to be weaker than Giga Drain or Drain Punch, though I still have a feeling it might be weaker.

Haven't seen this screen in the thread yet (although I believe it has been discussed and yes I check every page) so here it is. Riding Mamoswine c: (when did Mamoswine get so small tho)

Actually it's nowhere near as situational as you make it out to be seeing Ghosts beat themselves, for a prepared mono Ghost team it'd actually render you with no defense and strip you of STAB's and even leave the likes of Blissey vulnerable to SE STAB Ghost instead of being immune. Considering they're already immune to trapping and the wide variety of moves and types at their disposal plus their immunity to Rapid Spinning.

It could be that Ghosts turn into the Dragons of Gen 6.

Trick-or-Treat sounds like a boring move. What are the trainers supposed to do while the user and its target dress up and walk around the neighbourhood begging for candy? It could easily take 45 minutes if the street is long enough and their parents allow them to stay up late that night.

EDIT: @above, all that would just be speculations at this point in time, until we know for sure if Mega Chandelure even exists. Also, I doubt it would have Shadow Tag, seeing as it remains unreleased to date. Somebody at GameFreak probably realized how broken it was, and put it in the same drawer as the Azure Flute.

Is there much information compiled about the new methods to EV train? I'm curious about this. Does it make sense now to EV train Pokemon during your story-mode playthrough?

I would still think that it really only makes sense for competitive battling, but hey, if its quick and easy, perhaps there is a reason to do it all when you acquire a Pokemon that you want. Have we heard how long it takes, compared to the few hours it took to fully EV train a Pokemon in previous gens?

^ Im curious about the ev training, too. I personally want to ev train
an Azumarill that way

its the true ghost types that give you the full trick-or-treat experience in 1 turn's time.

Someone on neogaf said that there is a mega chandelure......think it'll have shadowtag?
No idea, but until we've got proof Mega Chandelure exists, I don't think it should be discussed.

As for Trick-or-Treat, I like the name and effect, but its described execution doesn't make much sense in the context of battle, even by Pokémon's standards. Unless it's some sort of instantaneous genjutsu?

@About Trick or Tread

I know rigth, is so pointless, like that damn abilitie normalize, what kind of use that stupid abilitie can have?

Besides totally destroy a whole team with it:

Seriously people, chill out. If somoene can sweep a team using normalize, then Trick and tread must have a good use.
