Any word on if these items can be found?
  • Adamant Orb, Lustrous Orb, Griseous Orb, Soul Dew, Arceus plates, Gracidea
What known Berries are available?

Any known location that Rotom or Deoxys could change their Form?
Kanpachi found the Orbs in the post-game dungeon
The plates are scattered all about, he mentioned having them for a while
Soul Dew & Gracidea are mia right now but I'm sure the flower's somewhere
But does he have the actual item or its description on the menu or is he going by what the NPC said?
You know how when you look at an item in the BP shops it shows you the description?

I really just don't see GF not putting in extra legendaries. They haven't done that since red/blue. Mewtwo and the birds don't count because they're not new - mega or not.

and yet here we are
with a new generation
with one new legend in the post game

And, more notably, 4 legends from a different set of games. They never do that in the first set of games.

One of the leaks found a Pixie Plate for Arceus. It was mentioned in a previous post a day ago.

Then we got screwed by megas because this sucks
People keep parading Megas around like they're the reason we got lesser amount of new pokemon, especially saying things like "they focused too much on them"
but
like

have they really? We have...18 of them. There's, obviously, probably more but there's not an overwhelming amount of them. We still haven't even found half the pre-release megas for that matter.
I think people just want an easy scapegoat, I guess?

If nothing else, the presence of megastones kinda substitute the lack of legendaries I guess. Gamefreak breaks trends all the time so don't expect much.

Thoughts so far:
- Glad Griseous orb is back because not having my favorite Pokemon would be heartbreaking
- Soul Dew ;____;
- I think Ability capsule will just be an out of battle thing where it lets you swap between two non DW abilities.
- Mega evolutions are the greatest things they've invented.
- Except Aegislash. That mon has the single coolest battle concept and opens up to a lot of mindgames (if you attack/shield consecutively to maximize ability usage you'll be predictable).

Things I'd love info on
- Heart Scale moves for the following Pokemon: Yveltal (along with its current set), Zygarde
- Can you megaevolve Pokemon when they're statused (most curious about sleep)? Is it possible to megaevolve and switch out on the same turn?
- If you have two Pokemon holding mega stones, if the megaevolved one faints, can you megaevolve the other?
- I wonder if certain battle facilities will allow Ubers? Pokemon World Tournament allowed them in a few modes.

My question exactly. As far as new flyers... there's Hawlucha... and that's it.

Old flyers, there's Dodrio, Crobat, Charizard, and I think Pidgeot.
There are plenty more. Pelipper, Flygon, Salamence, Swoobat, Noctowl, Hydreigon, Emolga, Honchcrow, Delibird, Farfetch'd, Altaria, Drifblim, Skarmory, Aerodactyl, Sigilyph, Smeargle, and Golurk.

I don't understand...many times in this forum(and even in other sites) ppl complain about legendaries..."there's too much of them, they're not "legends"". And now in the new game, things are as it's supposed to be...almost no legendaries...and ppl still complain? o.O

Fanbases are huge and tend to be internally self-contradictory. Only Quality of Life features tend to be universally appreciated. Part of what attracts people about Pokemon is the amazingly huge amount of options, so many of us are attracted to different options.

But put me down for Yippee, few new legends.

There were 4 (5 if you count glitching to get Mew) in Gen I, 6 Gen II legendaries. It wasn't until Gen III that we had a real increase in legendary numbers. I think we had 10? (Weather Trio, Regi Trio, Latios/Latias, Deoxys, Jirachi). I am perfectly fine with the small number of legendaries, not that I complained having many more in Gens III-V. I just personally prefer smaller numbers.
Gen V had 13. 15 if you count Kyurem's forms, 16 if you count Meloetta's other form, 17 if you count Volcarona (you can only get before breeding and it's very strong). So I think many people were spoiled with such a large number that they're disappointed with the drop off more than the number itself.

That's a common fallacy, whose name escapes me at the moment. It's usually not the same people complaining, but because you see it on the same forum in the same discussion, your mind is lead to think that the very same people are behind every complaint. You perceive the fanbase as having one, single, always disappointed mind, when in reality there are different fractions which whine about different things. True enough, there might always be some whining from somewhere among the fans, but it's rarely the same guys fronting opposite views at every turn of the wind.

Do not count alternate formes or Volcarona, seriously

Oh but this reminds me: Genesects's drives are likely given by that random [scientist?] dude who wants to see one.
I bet that Reshiram statue comes into play for getting the Gene Splicer for kyurem, too

Volcarona is a normal Pokémon like Pichu, Luvdisc or Haxorus.
Also, ever Legendary Pokémon only count as one, his forms donns´t. Arceus have 17 forms, wanna count them all as a seperate Legendary? '-'

Ice wolf legendary pokemon based on Fenrir?
Hey guys, I figured out how to get Fenrir:

Speaking of that, anybody run into meteor rocks for changing the Deoxys forms?

That's why I said if you count them. I like to view Kyurem, Kyurem White/Black as completely different pokemon since they have Reshiram/Zekrom fused within them. Regardless, it's still 13 legendaries without counting those. I feel like my point about the drop off is pretty valid

I wouldn't really count Arceus anymore than I would Unown - the amount of effort that went into them was clearly very minimal. Meloetta, also probably not, because she switches between them a lot in the normal course of battle. But some of the other forme changes clearly feel like very different pokemon, and seeing "Oh, Shaymin got a new forme today" did not help my perception of "too many legendaries and not enough cool normal things."

dat orgia mode.

Mega Evolve when you're inflicted with any sort of status to heal it and get a second shot and terrorizing the opponent.

I personally hope it does that, but I doubt it.
