EB Games Canada operates almost as if they were a different company. So no. We never have any tournaments.

i can name literally 5 gamestops within a 15 mile radius of me. i hope one of them holds it!

Well, I live just north of Kalamazoo so I called all of the ones in there and they didn't think they were participating. My assumption is that this was just announced and some of them may not even know that they may be doing this so I'm going to call back next week to make sure. If they don't host one I might go to Grand Rapids.

I'm up for driving about an hour though, Carl. You go to MSU, right?
Marshall is 40 miles from you and 35 from me.
I think that if we wanted for all of us (Synre, Carl, Loki, 5K, and maybe Jeps) to meet up then Jackson would be our best bet. It's 35 miles south of you, 60 miles from Detroit, 40 miles from Ann Arbor, and 75 miles from me.
That is a bit of a stretch though. Hopefully my Cross Country camp isn't that week.
 
I have one not so far away from my school (which isn't far away from my home). I'm hoping they'll hold it

Is jeps even playing DP? I don't think I've talked to him since a bit after the JAA finals, haha :(

I'm in Saginaw for what it's worth as far as choosing a location but given that I'm scheduled to work that day currently I wouldn't really consider it too heavily in your calculations!
 
Very true Firestorm. Our website also completely sucks in comparison to the American EB website, despite being the "same company". I bet Surgo knows an employee or something. I'm actually applying at one of my local EB locations. Alas, I digress.

Same deal for me, but I think I have 4 in the local area. Getting to the ones in other towns could prove to be a pain in the ass though.

Only 2 weeks to prepare.... When you connect to PBR, do all your pokemon get set to lvl 100? Because atm I don't have any 100's, and I wouldn't be able to participate effectively because it would limit my breeding time. Not having WiFi really blows.
 
Oh god please have the pokemon on set levels. While I have 5 Lv.100 Ubers, I only have very few for standard

They can be set to LV50 All, but not LV100 all.

.....that's a very strange coincidence, as the gamestop I go to is next to a borders as well- but more than likely, I Proably will be trying to read HP or will be at work.......besides I don't know that many people that play(or are at least as old as I) that play competitvely

but it does sound interesting though
