Coverage has long been a big issue for Heracross, as Bug+Fighting have terrible synergy, even worse now with Fairies around. Rock Blast and Bullet Seed are a huge help in the coverage department.
eh, true, but it's not like gengar is even near shitty normally. with the buff to ghost [steel no longer resists] and poison [super-effective against a powerful new type that is stopping another powerful type from running rampant], along with the still-great 110 base speed and 130 special attack, in addition to levitate still being a good ability [and being able to play mind games with it], i wouldn't really say this is much of a hit against gengar. One thing that people should keep in mind with MegaGengar is that shadow tag isn't on when he switches in for the first time. If you bring in Gengar to revenge kill, they can switch out while the megaevolve + attack is issued. The shadow tag switch in works great after you evolve him and switch him out.
intimidate with somewhat passable defenses and an excellent typing helps mawile though. Its hard to pivot when switching in, Venasaur still has weaker defenses and doesn't have Thick Fat yet. For example, Mega Mawile is going to be an excellent Pivot on paper, but Pre-Mega Mawile is a god-awful pivot. If you don't predict a poison / dragon attack, Mawile takes a ton of damage before the evolution.
I'm thinking that the best Megas will be used as a better Life Orb. The Mega mechanics do not favor a pivot.
How can Banette be a hard counter if it gets ravaged by Aegislash ghost stab? Bannete can't switch at all into Aegislash without risking eating a stab shadow sneak coming from a 150 base attack.
Stone Miss is a terrible move that is upgraded in literally every way by Skill Link Rock Blast. It's always had stone edge.
The only reason to use Mega heracross is if you wanna make it a tank with 252 hp and some bulk and attack. Even then, its only meh.
Hyper Voice bypasses subs now so it has use over MoonblastMeGardevoir seems like it'll become an amazing wallbreaker. Pixelate is useless since everything it could get out of it is worse than moonbeam, and its stats are 68/85/65/165/135/100
Not like mewtwo will ever want to switch into darkrai in the first place....... And mewtwo already beats darkrai 1v1 so I don't see your pointSorry to switch to Ubers here, but Mega Mewtwo Y is going to throw Darkrai around so easily. Insomnia + Super High Sp. Atk to toss around opponents will shred Darkrai in seconds.
It does learn draco meteor? Where?Sure, ground gives him some problems, but that's generally how it goes for electric types. It's important to note ground types generally aren't the bulkiest sp.defenders, and Ampharos does come equipped with STAB Draco Meteor and a great 165 sp.atk, so this can make them weary of switching in. He also has mold breaker t.wave and toxic, so fairies switching in won't necessarily get a free switch. Good fairies are few and far between, and none of them resist STAB Thunder / Thunderbolt. It might not seem like Ampharos has much, but he has a lot more utility to offer than most think.
Lol chople darkraiChople Darkrai could beat Mewtwo so long as Mewtwo didn't have a Calm Mind under its belt.
It wasn't. That's an unfortunate sticking point, because it means the extra bulk remains pointless.Just a note, but I think Mega-Heracross will be better off using Close Combat as its Fighting STAB, assuming Arm Thrust wasn't buffed to 25 BP like the other multi-hit moves.
Laugh all you want, but coming from a person who played Ubers - Chople Darkrai is not a joke.Lol chople darkrai
iron head too strong.Laugh all you want, but coming from a person who played Ubers - Chople Darkrai is not a joke.
It's like laughing at Babiri Tytanitar.
