I find turning it on after the first egg helps better as then the counter will reset for the next batch. How do you use Hatching O-Power most effectivly?
Do you turn it on and bike untill all 5 eggs are hatched, or is it better to switch out hatched Pokemon with new eggs while the O-Power is still running?

Assuming you're breeding in batches of 5 and then checking the results, it will always be more efficient to use your hatching power after getting the fifth egg. All 5 eggs will hatch in order, so you're just wasting O-Power points in speeding up the other four before getting the last one.I find turning it on after the first egg helps better as then the counter will reset for the next batch.
Always working for you in the back.
there is an error in your guide destiny knot doesnt at least give 5 ivs thrue but then my childs should have at the verry least have 3 max ivs and most of te time 4 but they only keep getting 2
The Destiny Knot passes 5 IVs total, they can come from either parent. So you're getting 2 flawless IVs from one parent and 3 imperfect IVs from the other parent/the first parent's other stats.wel the pokemon with the destiny knot as 4 max ivs and 2 are not so 3 is the absolute minimum since there are 6 stats and 5 get passed down
What? No. The item is a godsend, since in previous generations we were sending a max of 3 IVs from the two parents combined, meaning we were guaranteeing offensive stats and one other and then praying for acceptable defensive IVs (Essentially, stuff like 31/x/x/31/x/31 was the best you could expect without knowing how to abuse the RNG). Now, you can generate 5 perfect IV pokemon within a matter of hours assuming you're patient and working the system properly; a 5 IV parent and 2 IV parent means you should swap out the 2 IV for a 3-4 IV child once it's born, so that you have a better chance of breeding better IV spreads down the line.thats lame so that item is almost useless:(
Assuming I'm doing it correctly, you still have the same 1/192 chances that two matching 5 IV parents would have; You have a 2/12 chance of a bad IV being passed down, followed by a 1/32 chance of getting the IV, leading to 2/384 (simplified to 1/192).
1/32 is as low as it gets.how could you maximize your chances by using 2 perfect parrents.
I thought maybe you could lower that chance as well by giving 1 parrent an power item but I gues not then
Hell no. It's so random and frustrating, using 2 4IV parents and after 40 eggs, not a single 5IV offspring is not cool.Basically, getting 5 perfect IVs is now easier than ever, and getting 6 perfect IVs is also easier than ever but still a huge pain.
Only the female HAS to have the Hidden Ability (Speed Boost), since that gives you a 60 % chance of getting offspring with HA. The male can only pass down its (hidden) ability if it's breeding with Ditto.I am trying to breed a 31/31/31/x/31/31 speed boost Blaziken. When breeding,
I am replacing parents with offspring if their IV's are better. As I do this, should I use only offspring that have the hidden ability? Or can I just use any ability offspring and breed for speed boost later after achieving a 31/31/31/x/31/31 Blaziken?
You can find and get into touch with someone with a Ditto friend safari using this thread in Orange Islands: The Friend Safari IRC and SpreadsheetGreat guide! My problem is that I'm missing a key ingredient: having Dittos in my Friend Safari! Anyone know where I can get them (or is there someone willing to help a newbie breeder)?
Wait... so this guide is telling me that my 5IV foreign Male Solar Power Charmander will never produce a shiny Solar Power baby with my flawless Blaze Female Charmander? Furrackkkkk
That is correct, but you can breed the foreign Charmander with Ditto to get a female with Solar Power. Then you just have to chain breed untill you get a new female with Solar Power and good IVs, and breed that female with the foreign male.
