Simple Question: Is it true that a female pokemon (of a species that has 2 non-hidden abilities) has an 80% chance likelihood of passing its ability down? If so, can this be mitigated in some way without changing the female parent?

Depends on what you want. Modest --> Harder hits w/ special attacks.
Timid --> Faster than certain Pokémon but slightly less oomph per attack.

Since Delphox is already a fairly speedy pokemon (104 Base Speed I think?) You could do modest with fairly little repercussion. However, I personally would prefer Timid. I hope this helps!

I'm in the market for ANY Goomy/Sliggoo with its hidden ability Gooey. IVs are nice but not necessary. I don't have any spitbacks immediately available but I can breed up at least 4 perfect IVs on any of the following: Marrill (Adamant), Mawile (Adamant), Noibat (Modest), Slowpoke (Bold), Kangaskhan (Jolly).

yes it did help it doesnt matter too much so thats saves me a butload of trouble because the dad is already timid and finding an female modest fennekin would be a big pain

yes! you can learn spore first and remember mach punch later.

Out of curiosity, how does one get Mawile with Pain Split in Gen 6? It was a move tutor move last gen and I don't know if/how it became an egg move in Gen 6. Additionally, what use is Pain Split, and why did you want Sucker Punch bred onto Mawile when it learns it via level-up?

I don't think you can get pain split on mawile this gen, and would have to wait for pokebank for that, though I haven't tried to breed it. As for the sucker punch thing I assume he didn't want to waste a heart scale and since he asked for male probably wanted to breed sucker punch onto something.
