i've seen a few people say that they can, if they are correct i would say the chance would be very very low.Simple Q: can you (rarely) get Hidden Abilities by breeding two Pokémon who don't have the Hidden Ability?

We don't know of a way yet. Threads pop up all the time with people offering to check for you though, either here or on r/friendsafari, so keep an eye out.Is there anyway to know your friend safari type and contents without testing it with other people?
not that I know ofSo when you battle someone over wifi, little blurbs of info pop up like how many eggs you've hatched, how many times you've evolved a pokemon, how much BP you've earned, etc. Is there a way to check that in-game without being in a wifi battle? I know there was a way to see your statistics in HeartGold and B2/W2.
no; as rotom is genderless it cannot be bred with anything but ditto. Can Rotom breed with another Rotom?
Yes that is true. they are how to get those medalsI believe that you have to leave 100 pokemon in the day-care, not 10.
Assuming I'm remembering right from when I got this medal, you need to actually select a channel (I don't think it matters which one you pick) and watch that channel for it to count as "watching television". You only have to do it 10 times though, so it's an easy medal to get.
This is a pretty good reference on how to get all the medals.
There is no way you can influence the gender ratio and you cannot determine what gender the egg will have. We are currently still arguing when exactly the PID and every parameter associated with it is determined: When picking the egg up or when it is generated. So, for now it means that you cannot soft-reset.Hey! So, kind of a noobish question but, is there any way to somewhat determine the gender a bred pokemon will be?
Follow up on this. I kept trying the challenge and after about 10 more tries managed to get a sun stone followed by a moon stone. It seems you just need to keep going and they eventually pop up again regardless of how long you wait.Is there some sort of limit to how often you can get evolution stones from secret super training? I've been doing the Hydreigon one, and I've gotten one Moon Stone, one Sun Stone, and nothing but PP Ups since then.
Good to know, then. I have seen the trade board but wasn't sure whether players would toss out Pokebank'd Pokémon as freely... but now that I think about how many boxes of Froakies and Nidorans I have from trying to get a 5IV Hidden Ability result, I suppose you are right :) thank you for the perspective, and that's very good news as far as Hidden Abilities are concerned.Have you never been on a trade board? People want little to nothing for a pokemon, so long as it's not shiny or doesn't have amazing IV's. Anyone that tries to "monopolize" will get stomped out by the hundreds of people giving them away for free.
Edit: Give it a few days, and you'll see Pokebank'd breeding rejects all over Wonder Trade.
This is Smogon. Most people here on the trade forums, unless they are assholes and blacklisted, are people who are willing to do simple trades for dex completion/evolving/whatever. I've done this with a few forumites as well. Just be courteous and polite, and you'll get what you need, as long as you're careful too.Good to know, then. I'm still a little concerned when it comes to dex-hunting for the legendaries that cannot be bred, though. There is an element of trust in "here's my Lugia, give it back after you register it please" that might not seem appealing to many older players, right? I guess we'll see how it shakes out when Pokebank arrives, but are you as optimistic that newer players (with no Pokebank Pokémon of their own) will be able to acquire these legendaries? Especially if they want to make a trade to keep them - I'm just not sure what I could offer to someone for a Lugia (for example), unless I play through my other copy of Gen 6 (I have both X and Y) multiple times to get multiple Xerneas / Yveltal / Zygarde.
That's good to know, and I'm glad Smogon seems to be a good place for this. Cheers and thanks all for the responses. This is Smogon. Nope, it has to get it on with a ditto, because for some reason ditto can transform into a rotom and have all the parts necessary for fertilizing an egg, but two rotoms don't.Can Rotom breed with another Rotom?

90% sure that you have to fight him first, because one of your friends stops you from advancing until you meet the professor. Can Route 5 be accessed before the Sycamore fight, or do you have to fight him to access Route 5?
