Shoddy Battle, a new D/P simulator

I know thats what I was getting at, but it happened when I was in a battle today and instead of saying "Blah blah blah" used Sunny Day, it just said Heatran's Flash Fire boosts its attacks or something like that. Something to fix, i guess.
 
I like this. It's at least something for me, and other people, to play D/P on. The amount of people getting their lead Weaviles Mach Punched by Breloom is just funny, it's like people have forgotten 'Loom learns it.

Although getting hit with a Focus Punch when you put them to sleep with Hypnosis that turn is annoying.
 
It's definitely not a bad program at all, though it definitely has flaws. One of them being that you have to remake your team for any server you go on, and considering how long that takes it's pretty hard to get anyone to stay at a server that isn't the main one.
 
Yeah, I tried it out this morning. ( I think you were on too, drayano, and I battled you.) It's ok, at least team building is easy. Some obvious speed bugs (my Vaporeon went first against a Flygon, and I didn't have any speed evs) but all in all, it's pretty good. Some of the attacks don't work, though, because I couldn't find Fire Punch. Or Substitute, for that matter. Also, the attack names aren't long enough on the move select screen (when team building.) I thought I was selecting Dragon Dance for my Dragonite, but I got Dragon Rage. O.o
 
It's actually pretty complete now, the biggest things they have left are Choice Scarf, Substitute, and they need to fix Stealth Rock. Although, for some reason I'm having trouble getting on the server right now.....

It appears this way due to the shoddy mod selector, but you can use teams across servers so long as the servers are the same. (You might have tried it earlier and been misled because I've been updating the official server with the latest code, but the download hasn't been updated, so many moves are missing on other servers. You can checkout the latest code from the cvs server if you want.)
 
Wow...... I think it can be a little fun while waiting for Competitor. I just went into my first match, and my opponent left because I had Baton passed a SD and 2 Speed Boosts to my Gyra. lol
 
The Java program makes my computer lag so badly. 90% CPU Usage and 300MB ram used up seems excessive, considering that that was when I hadn't logged on yet. And my computer isn't very old either.
 
I just tried it out and thought it was a lot of fun. I find if almost more enjoyable than Wi-fi. Its faster, more competative, and not dependant on who can breed better. Ill defenantly be back on tomorrow.
 
meh....not the greatest of programs but it is good for a start/fillin till competitor comes out...atm the program is pretty much playable now it seems of course there are still issues with the program itself mainly logging in and freezed up but if you dont mind the bugs its pretty decent eh
